Loved these scenes. When Davis asked Chloe if there was ever anything between her and Clark and she said “nothing that would make page 1.” Lead me to believe she avoided the question. Chloe always loved him. The scene between Davis in that kryptonite cage and Clark rushed to stop 🛑 Chloe. Chloe chose Clark over Davis. Chloe loved Clark the most and Davis knew that. The thing with Davis is that in a way he’s tragic like Clark but for a different reason. Davis says things to Chloe like “you’re the only one who can save me,” “being around you is calming.” Things like that. Clark never said those things to her so Chloe felt a responsibility to Davis. She felt needed. Davis loved her very much. I think Chloe cared deeply for him too. There’s only 1 man who Chloe’s heart will always belong to. Clark. Oliver knew it, Jimmy knew it, and so did Davis. ❤️❤️
“We considered not telling you about your powers and instead letting you figure it out on your own when you punched someone’s head off or tossed tractor into a four person household”
Loved these deleted scenes but Clark and Lana’s relationship during season 3 was so damn uncomfortable to watch at times. Part of the reason she left was because of Clark. To me I saw that as “running.” You can’t run forever. You can’t outrun your past. Your past will still be there when you return. Lana although I do like sometimes never knew what she wanted. I knew Lana was never going to leave Smallville for good. Had Clark told her his secret she never would have left. Clark was just too afraid that if he told her the truth about himself she’d be put in danger. He could never live with himself if anything happened to her. Lana irritated me for going to Paris. Then she comes back in season 4 then before high school graduation she wasn’t sure if she was going to stay then she decided to stay. I swear she changes her mind more than I change my clothes. Whitney, Adam, Jason, etc were all distractions for Lana. Lana never stopped loving Clark. Even when they had fallouts. I think most of us can agree on that. I was always a massive Chloe fan and her relationship with Clark season 3 was definitely better than in season 2. Clark seemed easier around Chloe.

Even though Jonathan and martha only appear in this scene glad it was deleted, would sounds like a bumming loss as not his legal parents anymore if his memory is complete blank, considering not telling Clark who he is out from last 4 seasons of burdens, his abilities sacred , the Red Kryptonite, jor-el, the actions of not telling parents of forcing to leave when destroying the ship made a whoops in difficult impact, and said it honestly👍
Personally I think it’s too early for Clark to just be buddy buddy with Lionel, in show time it wasn’t so long ago he was seriously considering murdering him and I imagine he’d still be sore about Lionel meeting with Jonathan before his death.
Lana should have died permanently in this season IMO. I don’t know why the writers dragged it out up thru season 7. Better writing would have been Lana dying in this episode for good. Clark and Lana are star crossed lovers. What happens to star crossed lovers? Usually 1 of them dies. Or both. That would have forced Clark to accept his true destiny much sooner IMO. I will always ship Clark and Lana in some small way but watching them break up in 5x16 then get separated in season 6 then back together in season 7 then she leaves, then comes back ins reason 8. Ugh 😩 enough already. Love this scene though! ❤️❤️🙏
And season 8, AGAIN. Clark and Lois are star-crossed lovers, Clark and Lana are "childhood sweethearts," therefore it's supposed to STAY in their younger years. Star-crossed lovers only die in tragedies. There was a reason that there was a SHOOTING STAR THAT GOT HIT BY A COMET after LOIS AND CLARK were talking together, at the end of episode "Lucy". Those are the star-crossed lovers. Destiny is not anything to do with something that he wasn't already doing, that was his "destiny." People have to stop using words that they don't know the meanings to. IYO, you don't really understand these characters.
@@radicalreactions1633 Interesting observation and I never thought of Clark and Lois as being tar crossed lovers. Nice catch and I agree with that statement. I also agree with you that people do use words they don't really understand. The ending of Lucy (great episode) did symbolize what you said which again great point. The only thing I don't agree with you on is me not understanding these characters. Not sure where you get that because I do understand these characters. Been watching it since I was 4 when the show premiered. Thanks for commenting though! :) <3
Just watched Talkville. It makes more sense now. The acting between Chloe and Lana was a bit odd😅 I've always wondered how Lana quit the Talon but now I know
Even when Clark's in a bad mood, dealing with a meteor freak with a bad attitude, and wanting to fight Titan, Clark's main reason for beating up this meteor freak was to save his life. It shows that even when he isn't at his best, Clark's still a good person at heart.
I think the whole FBI segment should be combined with some other trimmed storylines to create an entirely new episode. I can see how it would seriously hinder the pacing in "Memoria," but it is worthy of placement in an episode shortly before or after...
@@94.13.productions. The ones with Alicia baker, like 3 and 4 also when lana finds out the secret in the wine cellar before her wedding was really good.
Wow! It doesn't change too much, but it does make me feel like they were trying to make the audience concerned about Lana possibly leaving the show. This is truly one of my favorite episodes of SMALLVILLE, in my absolute favorite season, (S3) so I'm not going to say that they should have changed anything but these scenes are pretty important if they explain why Lana was visiting Lex in the middle of the night 🌙, ya know? She now has a pretty good reason for her being there at that late hour, whatever hour that is that would be after Lex had gone to sleep. Great deleted scenes for a very great episode of my longtime favorite show. Watching SMALLVILLE makes me want to be a better person, and I love that.
Amazing I had never seen this!! Lois and Martha always had a special relationship even before she and Clark became a couple!! This should have been kept in the episode
