I can confirm it's a hockey movie. Better hockey than the Mighty Ducks by far (and maybe this year's Sharks). I think the only mistake was the tripping call right at the beginning. She hit the other girl's stick, clean play.
It’s been a few years, but for Disneyland dining, I enjoy Blue Bayou (inside Pirates Of The Caribbean) if just for the setting. However far in advance you can make reservations, make them because there’s a wait.
Being short is something men of all races can unite on. You will realize race is actually a much weaker group you should be loyal to, it's height of a man that unites not that of race. Been preaching this for years. Your own race would throw you under the bus for being short. You will see how much race actually bullshits themselves. Your own race of women would throw you under the bus.
It took me a couple of minutes to realize what Clash At The Castle is about. I was quite focused on interactions with kitty. I find the catering to kitty much more interesting than a Rob Blake press conference.
I want to blame the Vegas Golden Knights in part for the influx of NHL gambling, while understanding that COVID losses contributed. Along those lines, then, I can guess the Golden Knights aren't reaching out to you because of your outspoken takes on gambling. Takes which I agree and support. I hope a really public NHL gambling story burns the whole foundation.
I wouldn’t say I was really bullied, or intentionally bullied others, but I remember the moment I broke away from the mentality of the group I was with and became a better person. I was working on the student council, on the guys on the council was gay, no issue to me. We had to go to a dinner I didn’t have my licence yes so they offered to drive me. My friends group were freaking out “you’re actually going to go in a car with him” The moment opened my eyes a bit more to push back on others judging people over the dumbest things.
I can get why media and fans feel like gatekeeping the WNBA, but the players' reaction puzzles me a bit. Sports is the entertainment business and if you ask musicians or directors that a bunch of new people are just discovering their work because of a meme or it was on TikTok, the vast majority would only care that more and more people are being exposed to their work and wouldn't be obsessed by the "why." In their Juno nominated documentary, the Edmonton-based band Ten Second Epic said they just wanted people to listen to their new record and didn't care if they bought it or downloaded it. I think because gender and race are so intrinsically tied up in the league a lot of the discussion ends up (on both the pro- and anti-Clark sides) getting viewed through the prism of narratives and politics instead of "Hey, we're making money." People are analyzing and over analyzing what Stephen A. Smith or Shannon Sharpe say (or don't) about the WNBA when the NHL would kill for Stephen A. "the only thing I know about hockey is the puck is black" Smith to start talking about the Stanley Cup Final (on ABC) no matter how ignorant he sounds lol Same thing with Taylor Swift in the NFL. Some fans might've voiced their displeasure, some media, but the players by large looked at the situation and all they saw was dollar signs so they stayed quiet lol
I'm hearing Rammstein, Eisbrecher, Combichrist... and it's almost like you're speaking to me. I loved those bands (and still do), and still listen to them regularly. Also, for anyone who says "[band] has been around forever, where have you been?", you always find new stuff, no matter how old you are or where you're from, there's always new stuff to find. I still remember finding Heilung for the first time, maybe ten years ago. I remember my first time listening to Fear Factory, Front Line Assembly... hell, Seigmen (Norwegian band, eventually some members moved to LA and formed Zeromancer) is another. If you've heard of Zeromancer, one of the members of the band (Kim Ljung) also has an indie band he started in 2005 called Ljungblut. He performed in English at first, but now sings in his native Norwegian... but it's an amazing band, and I don't think you'll be sorry if you give it a shot. Definitely not metal in the slightest, but if you end up liking Seigmen and/or Zeromancer, you'll like them too. Music is an adventure, and you're never too old to go on a new one.
Seriously Disneyland! That is so overpriced, overcrowded, and not very good anymore. Your $$$ is much better than off being spent at other amusement parks.
Rogue was ok. But I thought the prior episode was so phenomenal that it paled by comparison. PS. Sorry there aren't more like me watching the Doctor Who reviews 😢 PPS. A watch suggestion...Hit Man on Netflix 👍👍
As a brit 🇬🇧 the wrong side of 50 years young i have to say that I hate Doctor Who now a days...its agenda pushing, woke and very gay. If you are a lefty politically itll probably be right up your street but I'll stick to classic Who , especially the John Pertwee and Tom Baker eras myself and the new incarnations upto the end of the Capaldi era...
The 9th Doctor was flirting with Jack Harkness in 2005. The show hasn't changed. Politics have changed while the show has stayed the same. Messages about tolerance, accepting everyone and being against war as well as hate have been consistent themes of the show.
@NotTheHockeyGuy I'll agree to disagree...the show then was still about making quality Sci-Fi . The Dr was always been an asexual being, but not now a days... its all about forced diversity and political agendas...and that is a massive difference.... I predict it'll be cancelled in the next 2/3 years...viewing figures are awful and people have tuned out.
I don't watch wrestling anymore, I don't want reality TV, I don't watch Doctor Who, but I still watch all of these videos. Thanks, Shannon, your character is lovely.
Well, it’s August… playing street hockey 🏒 in the middle of the summer is not an ideal time and way to go. Should be played indoors instead. Also, I haven’t heard of the WNBA beef because of the Caitlyn Clark effect, but this is just hilarious.
As for the time period, I think they were intentionally vague. The girl’s hair and outfit to me were more inspired by the 70s, but the phone in the hospital room and the computer monitors looked more like they were from the last 10 years. And with the size of that camcorder, I would call that more late 90s at the earliest. Even the vehicles on the street were all over the place age wise. I probably paid too much attention to all that…
Waited to watch this video until after I saw the movie, and I loved that it. I suspected the twist because of the casting decision, but still appreciated it. I didn’t have imaginary friends, but I was overly attached to my stuffed animals, and the old forgotten bear in the movie killed me. There were a bunch of families in the theater, and I’m sure I cried more than all the kids combined. My bear’s name was “Tacky Teddy,” which my sister gave him because he was rather homely. When I was maybe 7 or 8, my mom had the bright idea to give him to my grandmother to fix up, and I never saw him again. I think that’s why when my first blues jersey had to be sent off to be sewn up because the ironed on numbers came off in the wash, I started crying and my mom didn’t know what was going on with me. Still have the jersey, though. But Tacky Teddy is my Rosebud.
You wouldn’t throw up on it most likely. You might get rattled around and anger your back though. No real big drops just a lot of jerking around at low speeds.
The 11 year old Phils fan in me is still crying... but Joe Carter is just a distant nightmare anymore. I do dig that Toronto jersey though. It took a minute but the Phillies grew on me and now I love it. The Declaration of Independence font with the Liberty Bell cracks within is a graphic designers wet dream. Chefs kiss
