Hello there. I'm a filmmaker, propmaker, writer, musician and actor, from Late Night Mash (Dave) and Class Dismissed (CBBC). As well as comedy shorts and music videos, I'll now be sharing my costume, craft and prop-making process here too. Thanks for watching.
So here i am watching this video and also looking through your older videos and I see you made the brain of Morbius. I must admit I am so excited to watch that.
Hi, absolutly love your show. Your crafting is great. You are mentioned in this video if you're interested. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JTukW-lFyrc.htmlsi=YMqhlRd0EbTW7XO_ Take care.🤪
Always love that you can quickly make your own colored (static) grass for purposes like that. Get some white flax from the plumbing section in the hardware store, color it with diluted paint., comb out the dried flax and then you have strands that can be cut to the desired length with some craft scissors. Since I work with water-based, i just use watercolors from a cheap paint box from the school supplies sale. Massive savings from having to buy the stuff online.
This is some wonderful crafting. Not the scale I make things in, but a lot of the tools and methods are the same. I do have one question, though: what exactly is goth glue? I've seen another channel use black glue before and I figured it was local to him, but apparently it isn't.
Thank you! I must stop just casually using that phrase 😆- it's simply black hot glue. As I generally prime things black, I figure it's easier to paint over.
@@greigjohnsonmaking So it's literally just a stick of hot glue that's black? Huh. I've never seen that before. All the glue sticks I can find around me are the standard opaque white-ish colour.
@@crapparc Yep, you can get silver and gold, woodglue and all sorts. I use red glitter gluesticks for bricks in this vid: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OhSmdl9Xb9U.htmlsi=eZpaFU7yfX9mKEPg
Onomatopoeia - firstly, you got me, I definitely had to check for certain that sticking-on-the-well wasn't a real place. I have been had. Secondly, i love your sense of humour and your commentary format. The picture-in-picture is so entertaining, along with the title cards and the jokes. And finally, this is a brilliant make. Everyone needs a bit of terrifying-alien-colour for their gaming table.
I made a colour-haunted well out of a trash can last month for the Eldritch Ball at NecronomiCon Providence! I guess there's just something in the water.
Onomatopaella: that squidgy sound the spoon makes as it's stirring around all the wet rice and meaty bits in that giant pan. *squrrrlldddpp* I think I spelled that correctly.
@@greigjohnsonmaking Sub-terrain so the folks of The Grand Strategium can have players climb into well 1 and access tunnels. The bottom half, if you will.
@@greigjohnsonmaking Since you'll have three, it should probably investigate criminal activity. "Well, well, well, what's all this then?". It could be placed on Letsby Avenue. #DadPuns
That’s great. Do you think Rust-Olium matte black spray paint would work? And how many tubes of super glue did you use before sanding? And if you buy a HazLab proton pack can you make a Reweathering video on that?
