Since 2009, Wilmington Classical Guitar has been bringing the joy of classical guitar music to the Delaware Valley region. Each season, WCG presents 7 concerts, including 5 concerts featuring some of the brightest rising stars of the classical guitar world, and 2 Members Concerts. WCG's Opening Artist program also gives local students, amateurs and professionals a chance to share the stage with our visiting artists, and for many this is their first chance to perform in concert.
Here on our channel we share some fruits of our labors, highlighting some of the amazing artists we've been fortunate to present. Enjoy!

I too love the slower tempo. What is the point of that contraption on his knee? I know some guitarists use similar ones because of severe back pain from years of playing guitar.
The guitar support - and there are many different types - is simply an alternative means to raise the guitar into a more ergonomic playing position. The traditional method of using a foot stool under the supporting leg can cause problems for some people over the long term, such as lower back pain. Use of a guitar support allows the player to keep both feet on the ground and maintain proper curvature in their spine and better posture while playing, and to largely avoid problems associated with using a foot stool.
This is a most lovable, masterful and stunningly beautiful performance by Xavier of Les Barricades Mystérieuses"!!! Bravo Xavier! You are a true maestro! Perfect tempo, not too fast and excellent technically played, but also highly romantical and sensitive! Goes straight to your heart and soul. A true gem!
Such an exciting video! It's valuable and meaningful to me. Could I repost your channel on Ganjing World platform to reach more people? Hope to get your thoughts. Nice day!
