This tempo is much more mysterious than the 1960s breakneck speed recordings!

This is a most lovable, masterful and stunningly beautiful performance by Xavier of Les Barricades Mystérieuses"!!! Bravo Xavier! You are a true maestro! Perfect tempo, not too fast and excellent technically played, but also highly romantical and sensitive! Goes straight to your heart and soul. A true gem!

Delightful - I love the way he lets the melody breathe, rather than turning it into something like a Minute Waltz as some do.
