Great video, I was ready to head out the door to Home Depot and upgrade to a Bosch but unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, it worked!

So I followed this video and it worked again. Then stopped working again. I’m going to try it one more time and hope it continues to work. 😅😅

Couldn't get the pump off. Put dishwasher back in cabinet. Started up real nice and ran for a minute only to stop and do nothing. We gave up. Will buy a new one we like better and see how long it lasts.😂

This was helpful except that after numerous attempts I apparently am not getting that pump back on correctly. I have checked every side and have perfect alignment, and the o-ring is still in place…but the second it runs water it all goes on the floor. I freaking hate dishwashers

What is that magnet part called?? Mine is cracked so I think I need. New one.

I did all these steps and it was already clean it still doesn’t spray and wash what could it be? I tried checking all areas to include spray arms for clogs but it’s not that old like a year so is still pretty clean I found no glass pieces anywhere just need help now I checked by the magnet area and cleaned that too it was mostly clean already

This worked a few times, then this didn’t work anymore.

I have a Maytag dishwasher and really I shouldn't complain because I think I put it in in 2001. I noticed it didn't clean well so I kinda watched what it was doing and I noticed it doesn't have as much water pressure inside as it did. It seems to do everything but I remember hearing the water spraying so loud inside and now it's not like that.

Whirlpool - Kenmore you can do this without taking out the dishwasher. It's about a 5 minute job beginning to end.

I never thought the intake water that sprays out of the spinners would need a pump. Water pressure should do that work alone. A drain pump is obviously needed, but how they factored in an intake pump is just mind boggling.

Well, I had to cut channels in my subfloor to remove my dishwasher. But once I did, I found plastic inside the pump which I removed and now the dishwasher is working like new.

I've had a service tech here twice. Told me I needed a whole bunch of new spinner parts. I told him I would rather just buy a new one. I happened to see this video and did exactly what you showed and found the sticker from a plastic plate plugging up the fan. Dishwasher Runs like brand new with no purched parts! Thank you!

This is the exact problem my machine had. Model WDTA5OSAHZ0. It would fill up with water, soap drawer would open, then nothing. Following these steps helped out a lot and fixed my dishwasher. Thanks!

So I’m twisting that pump off I mangled my finger on something. Overall 10/10 completely fixed my problem.
