I spent three hours today watching all of the RU-vid videos that I could find on how to fix my dishwasher. I cleaned it, checked the inlet, literally did everything. I was about to go to the store and buy a new one when I came across your video and figured I would give it a try. It freaking worked! Just bought a new whirlpool dishwasher in October of 2023 and after 2 months, it quit spraying. Water was coming in good and draining good. This guy, right here. I have the exact same unit and it was doing the same thing. When I took it off, I thought there was no way that was the problem cause there was nearly nothing there. I even took a picture of the part number so when it didn't work I knew what to order. Well, it works. Crazy.

I ended up using Thrift drain cleaner to get rid of the gunk rather than taking the dishwasher out, but this video helped me figure out how it worked and what was wrong. Thank you, Sir!!!

I had spent two days trying to figure out why the middle arm was not spinning and the bottom arm was barely spinning. Your video lead me to the source of the problem. A piece of foil-plastic was completely covering the pump impellers. I cleaned the plastic out and reassembled it. The dishwasher is working perfectly again. I had almost conceded that we would need to go buy a new dishwasher. Thank you for the great video!! You saved me the expense of a new dishwasher.

Man, you saved my day! My dishwasher started not cleaning well a few weeks ago, and three days ago, it was completely not spraying water - when the washing cycle was done, dishes were still as dirty as they had been put in, and dish liquid was around the dispenser (still dense). Other "how to repair" videos won't help - I don't even have the device to test continuity, LoL. My dishwasher was starting and filling with water but it was clear the sprayers were not activating so nothing would be clean. I was frustrated until I found this video. It's a super easy fix. My husband and I have been overwhelmed with work and life, so when our dishwasher quit working we thought we were going to have to buy a new one (usually my husband can figure out how to fix anything, but lately work is just absolutely wearing him out and there’s not enough hours in the day). I have almost the exact same model (except the front of mine is black) and it would fill up with water, the heating element would work because the inside was warm but it wouldn't spray water. I thought the board that controls it might be gone but everything lit up and it would fill up with water, so I figured that couldn't be the problem. This was super helpful! It looks like the magnet on the shaft of my pump is broken but after removing it and cleaning a little it is working again.

Guys, this truly is the cause of most people's issues. I tried just about everything which led to major cleaning of gunk (Which was much needed), but I still had major spray issues. Once I did this it was game changing. I reconnected everything and the dishwasher started spraying better than ever! My best advice is this: do what this video recommends and then clean your dishwasher filter every month.

Right on my man! This was the fix for me, a small shard of broken glass was stuck between the fins in the impeller. What a moment when I could hear the water flinging all over inside rather than the lame sound of just the fill and drain. Thanks a million.

Bravo- i did a shortcut . filled it with hot water and use a shop vac to clean inbound and outbound water inlet and I put the shop vac on spinning arm out bound water and made the motor spin by sucking the water out. it worked thank you . I also reset the washer there is video for that here .

Thank you! I assumed the tablets I used wasn't doing the job of cleaning the dishes. Then I started the same load again after realizing th 2nd tablet I put in didn't work. After a 3rd try, I realized that water wasn't going into the dishwasher at all. Thank you for teaching me something. It worked❤ And now, I must research how to fix a leaking refrigerator.

This worked great! So my situation: Dishwasher "worked" the whole cycle completed, but nothing was clean. Basically, water comes in, leaves, but the spinners never kick on, it doesnt "spray" the dishes, cycle finishes. Cleaned the filters, checked the overflow bobber, took out the diverter motor and tested it (good). Then took out the impeller like in this video to clean it. When I first looked at it, it didn't seem THAT dirty but as I got out a straw cleaner to get in each slot, something hard popped out... maybe some piece of glass or something, it went down the drain too quick to see. Put it back together and did a test run to make sure I dont have any leaks - it all worked perfect. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for this video. Literally saved me hundreds of dollars. For me the gunk was in the inner part with the magnet. So it was in the part of it you thought wouldn’t need cleaning. (What you pointed to was clean and clear.) nevertheless, I would have never figured out to look there and after I did, it worked! Thanks a ton!
