I would use the empty countertop as an extended bed to stretch legs. 😊have some kind of removable pad & secure it somehow... you could easily put either hooks or magnetic strip on the ceiling wood to hold cabinet open .
Thank you! 💚 we had just gotten back from Alaska, where he wasn’t able to come with, so my parents were watching him for us! Right after we finished filming this video they actually ended up meeting us here to deliver him back to us! ☺️
Everything there is beautiful! Who in the world put bells on those poor horses it must bother them because it would bother me LOL. Stunning views ❣️ I just subscribed, you guys should do more videos! Your photography skills are next level and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. There was absolutely nothing on here that I didn't enjoy seeing. I subscribed. Teresa from Pennsylvania ❤
Hey Teresa! Thank you so much for subscribing! We’re happy you’re here! ☺️ I believe they put bells on the horses so they don’t accidentally sneak up on and startle any bears! Thank you so much for your kind words! We definitely plan to keep making and posting videos! We both work full time so finding the time to record and edit can be tough, therefore we aren’t able to post videos as often as we would like, but we’re okay with that because we care more about the quality over the quantity! So with that being said you might want to consider turning on the notifications so you don’t miss it when we do post one! Thanks again!
3:00 The Traveling Beans from the U.K. came over to purchase a van. They bought one that had been sitting for a few years. Some of us think the fule lines were dry-rotted.
Hello :)- Great build as I am in the process of going into van life as I have spent my entire life in apartments nut I finally gave up my apartment, put everything in storage and I am currently living out of a weekly hotel as I figure out what vehicle to use for van life. Great job!! :)-
Thank you everyone for watching our van tour! We're very appreciative of everyone who has watched, commented, subscribed, and watched our other videos! This video is now 2 years old, so to update all of you: we did get our transmission replaced, and have since put on 20,000 miles of exploring on the new one. We feel that we made a great decision and expect the new transmission to easily last the life of the van itself. So, thank you for all of the tips and ideas, but you can consider that issue solved. Thank you all again, and we'll see you on future adventures!
Ive been trying to get serious with making videos on here for 6 weeks now. I was at 75 subscribers on August 1 im at 300 now (4 weeks later) I am an amputee who is building a van to live in full time. Im a motivational speaker, who travels the country telling my story in hopes of showing others we can overcome obstacles. Is this a good growth rate? Im a disabled veteran so I receive a small income from the VA. So I don’t require a huge income to make this happen. Im just hoping for enough for gas/food. Any suggestions for a newbie at this? 3:34
If the fluid was changed before they left why wasn't the filter😂 that's the number one cause of transmission failures is neglect. And always read the fine print on warranties because warranties are the biggest scam out there Nationwide doesn't mean anything if there's not enough locations to bring your vehicle to
Thanks for going back and watching our journey with the transmission! I'll start this by pointing out that these videos are 2 years old, and we are WAY past this issue with the van. Our transmission did need replaced, and we've put about 20,000 miles on the new one and expect it to easily last the life of the van itself. I'd also like to point out that, for us, the nationwide warranty has been great. We found a small leak on the transmission shortly after returning home that year. A local shop fixed the issue and we were reimbursed for it quickly and easily through the warranty. Yes, our transmission failed because of neglect. I'm only aware of what happened with the van from 125,000 to 150,000 miles (my best friend owned it) and all we did was neglect that van. It honestly was not a surprise at all given how we treated the thing as teenagers. I take much better care of it now! And finally, I'm no expert, but as far as I know the 700r4 transmission has no shift solenoids. So, everyone claiming that was all that was wrong with it doesn't quite know what they are talking about. We ended up listening to the transmission shop who did an incredible job with our van and we've never doubted that we made the wrong choice on that front. Thanks again for watching our videos!
If your vehicle ever gets stuck in first and it's an automatic it's limp mode and it's a simple shift solenoid so don't let anybody tell you you need a new transmission
Thank you! Haha possibly, there are so many stickers on that wall now that I forget what all is on there! We're from Wyoming so I'm sure there's one on there
😮 this old-school van build is one of the best builds I’ve ever seen and I’ve been doing this for five years. I started out in a low top too, but at 6 foot and 50+ years old I’m not gonna do that anymore.😅 Again, very good use of space for a small van and specially two people in a dog. My hat is off to you.😮😊😊👍💚💚💚
