The idea behind GETSETGO CAR REVIEWS sparked when I closed my auto brokerage firm ( in the midst of the COVID pandemic). When dealerships were forced to shutdown and sales slowed down I realized that I wasn’t being 100% with my clients.
Prior to COVID, my inbox was full of prospects who had trusted me and only wanted to do business with me. It was a challenge to build a community as the lifeline of my business was sales. Once again I found myself working at the wrong end of the industry.
I’ve thought long and hard on how I can bring value to this industry. That’s when I discovered the most selfless act - to work as an automotive journalist. GETSETGO CAR REVIEWS is my platform to share my expertise within the industry - whether that’s a car review, finance tips and everything in between.
Stickshift, manual, reliable, looks great even after 20 years. Not the fastest car nowadays (it was when it was launched, specialliy on its price range), but still quick and surely one of the funniest sports cars out there. One gotta drive it to understand it.
My 2003 Z4 has been running fine. I drove today and parked however, when I tried to drive again, the brake light was on and the acceleration was very sluggish. I never even passed 10 miles an hour. Anybody know what the issue could be?
Man everyone saying these don't have enough power are exaggerating. Its more than 134hp with the battery assist and actually more torque and pick up than any other econo hatch since you get the instant electric assist in sport mode. I drive a 3100lb corvette with 500hp and my ct is plenty fast for everyday use.
Nice video, my 2006 has some clear coat issues, are wraps cheaper than paint? Can they be used on parts like hood and roof where clear is going to match factory AX6 paint?
4.2 is the Supercharged, and the 5.0 after 2010. Swapping the air ride for coils is horrible and only cheap people who want to say they own a Range Rover will do. The suspension is part of the beauty of this vehicle and is integrated in the off road systems. You can only change ride heights with the doors closed and the wood is real wood. It’s nice you made a video about the L322 but you have no idea about them. At least inform yourself when trying to make a statement of it becoming a classic. To finish it off. The 4.4 BMW engine isn’t know for catastrophic failure but it will have Vanos, timing chains and even oil leaks issues. The 5 Speed gearbox is more of an issue. The 4.4 Jaguar engine isn’t known for problems.
Sadly already is here in Germany. A good condition 350z will cost you 15-20k. A few years ago a famous tuner made a video on the 350z and 370z and it caused a massive price spike. The 350z went from 8-9k to 20k in just a few weeks and the 370z practically never went below 20k...
The reason why 350s and 370s arent that expensive??? They share the same motor in all their vehicles!!!! S2000 and RX-7 are expensive because they use thier own motor. Nsx had a accord v6 wouldn't be worth shit 😂
BMW missed it with a convertible top motor not being sealed unit. You have what maybe 5 to 10 seconds opening or closing not enough time to overheat a motor. Ze German not so smart 🤓
Open diff and you’re probably leaving traction control on. Not that I try to drift mine on purpose, but I’ve gotten the tail loose more than a few times
These cars have such a beautiful timeless design that still holds up even to this day, too bad there are less and less clean ones available and the prices are skyrocketing as more and more get bought as first cars by teenagers who don't respect the car's power and end up crashing them or doing shoddy mod jobs 😔
I don’t think the 350z will ever be expensive. You’ll be able to import the fairlady z starting in 2 years, they’re dirt cheap in Japan and even with the numerous importing fees most are still cheaper than domestic z’s
This is the first generation cars, Lexus is a good car builder and Toyota Lexus have the no 1 knowledge with hybrids. It comes down to servicing regularly with health check at Lexus Toyota dealer.
I had mine since 09 an 08 enthusiast trim. I still love it, all black 6 speed I only have 55k miles since I live in the city. I only use it during the weekends and around the city.
Would you recommend financing a lexus with 62k miles? Im down to 2 cars 2021 ux200 base34k $26,000 Or 2019 es350 base62k $26000 Is it safe going with 2 year older car with more m8les to get a better car with a 6cylinder?
This car has 8 min official time at nurburgring. Factory car with no stages or updates. That is a hell of a time. Is a race car, nothing more, nothing less. And you are searching for storage space 😂
There just a pos that’s the bottom line Chrysler is a pos and won’t fix a damn thing on them there cheap couldn’t designs a new vehicle they just took a jeep wrangler and put a truck bed on it had my for 2 years broke down in drive way for 2 months greenway of the shoals wouldn’t fix nothing on it because they said there wrong with the pos called Chrysler the really don’t care so conclusion don’t buy this pos
Today at just 18,000 was told by dealership in Gretna Nebraska thst my 2021 Gladiators transmission is bad and is getting replaced under warranty. I gotta get rid of this POS. 😮 Rear seal replaced, third brake light issues and other issues. Should have kept my 2016 JK. I don't even offroad it...😢
I've owned a 2.2i since 2007. I like it because firstly, the styling, classic roadster with a unique modern twist that is ageing very well. The driving position & experience is always a thrill. The straight six makes a nice growl. As it aged, overall it has been very reliable. On average maybe one thing per year had to be replaced, nothing major. Water pump, door mirror glass fell out, one cylinder coil pack, bushings an obvious one & the gasket seal and lastly due to freezing weather the wiper motor and window regulator. Oh and yes the roof motor had to be relocated but fortunately it cleaned up well and works fine now.
Thanks for sharing an informative well made video. It appears that you recorded this video near to where I live. I'm considering the purchase of a CT 200H. Is there a mechanic that you could recommend in the area.
I have a 2006 350z roadster. Silverstone Metallic. I got it in August of 2023, with 70k miles. It's strictly a weekend car and I can't wait to drive it every weekend.
