I have a 2006 350z roadster. Silverstone Metallic. I got it in August of 2023, with 70k miles. It's strictly a weekend car and I can't wait to drive it every weekend.
Affordable is relative, but for a rwd Z making right under 300hp I guess it's still kinda true. But the price of one in decent condition is usually not worth it as there are better cars in that range. It's only worth it if you really like the Z at that point
Why I like the 350? It provides a great amount of performance for the price. Looks great too. Previously owned a 05 G35 and loved it. Currently have a 2020 370z that I am trying to preserve. Good luck with your Z! they are great cars.
It's all how you treat it kids out here dogging them turbo boosting flooring at every stop light. Chill we know it's fast I got 2007 350z stock 68,000 strong and fast only thing I'm going to do add a spoiler front lip side lip and back I'm done not touching the engine.
Bought a 04 exactly one month ago for 6.7k with 139k miles clean title. Its pretty clean all through it has some issues which was a exhaust leak in the back, and shit tires, and a valve cover seal leak on one tube causing a misfire on cylinder 5 and a crap coil pack on cylinder 2. Fixed it all, refreshed oil, coil packs, spark plugs got 4 new tires, rear brakes and its been treating me well! Does need some seats, new steering wheel etc... but nothing I wasnt already ganna swap lol The pervious owner also had installed a short shifter, oil ketch can, stage 2 cluch, cold air intake, 2 10s built in truck, etc..... way more but to much to type out
I had mine since 09 an 08 enthusiast trim. I still love it, all black 6 speed I only have 55k miles since I live in the city. I only use it during the weekends and around the city.
These cars have such a beautiful timeless design that still holds up even to this day, too bad there are less and less clean ones available and the prices are skyrocketing as more and more get bought as first cars by teenagers who don't respect the car's power and end up crashing them or doing shoddy mod jobs 😔
Ya and slams all of the doors, trunk and compartments for a car that isn’t even his 😂 The early manual transmissions for the 03 to 06 350Z (which are the CD000/3/5/8) go to shit over time from the weak synchros, which upgrading to the CD00A will not have that problem. And no, there isn’t a glove box in front of the passenger seat by the side out cup holder that you yanked out ( 😂 you probably broke it).
Sadly already is here in Germany. A good condition 350z will cost you 15-20k. A few years ago a famous tuner made a video on the 350z and 370z and it caused a massive price spike. The 350z went from 8-9k to 20k in just a few weeks and the 370z practically never went below 20k...
I can't say, what or why I love my Lady (2004, 280 PS ~120 000km)...but it is so! The design, the sound, the kind of driving...The first car in my life, that I'm falling in "love"..every day since 5 years and every day, I can't believe "I own this car...this car is mine!!" 🫶 I used my Lady not for daily drive, because I need no car to go for work. I use it to travel around in my country in leisure time, go photographing and so on...
heard this guy talk about 50/50 weight distribution during acceleration being ideal on a RWD car and stopped the video. Thats not how cars work, there's a reason mid engine cars launch better. and the miatas weight distribution is in fact better even for acceleration. More weight on the drive wheels = more grip = more fast.
I bought mine New in 2006 and still have it. I’m 54 and still enjoy the drive. 157,654 miles I call it the poor man’s Porsche. Have other cars but some reason I can’t let this one go😂😂
I don’t think the 350z will ever be expensive. You’ll be able to import the fairlady z starting in 2 years, they’re dirt cheap in Japan and even with the numerous importing fees most are still cheaper than domestic z’s
That car specifically does not have the cd009 . the cd009 only came in a manual transmission, not an automatic On top of that, it does not push 300 hp , that’s only for the HR model that comes out in 07 and 08 which that car specifically is also not since the the hood is on the hr is just a tab bit different . now im not saying these cars are or are not going to increase in price , but i do want to say that one should not make a video on something that shows they have very little interest on and is just trying to promote a dealership by selling one a car by explaining to you the best parts of a higher trim car that he does not have or is promoting .
@daquansutherland7618 If you're buying a three fifty in an automatic, I'm sorry for how pathetic that is. I don't blame the people who can't drive manuals for not being able to find a teacher, I blamed the stupid industry for getting rid of the manuals. 95 odd percent of the worst drivers I deal with are those who have never learned to drive a manual transmission car. I say gilbert of the automatics for anybody out of the age of thirty, and driving would improve. And yes I have the revup engine. When's the last bit of updates are being done, My tune will bring it above 310 whp.
The reason why 350s and 370s arent that expensive??? They share the same motor in all their vehicles!!!! S2000 and RX-7 are expensive because they use thier own motor. Nsx had a accord v6 wouldn't be worth shit 😂
You just compared this car with a E46 M3……. I mean I get some of the comparison. They are both cars with 4 wheels but from an engineering and execution perspective they are nowhere in the same league. I am not talking about power or reliability either - they are just different cars. Like comparing an apple to an orange.
Mmm you might wanna watch again, I didn't compare specs to the e46. What I compared is how the value will increase similar to the e46 However I'm in between buying either car so it would make sense to me to compare
There is something so disappointing about an automatic 350z .... this was meant to be driven in manual only and can't respect any "car person" who can't drive stick or chooses to buy an AT for these types of sports car
The tiptronic is quite fun to use, plus the auto is faster than the manual. If it’s your only sports car I’d go manual though. I got auto because I have other manual cars so this is fun in a different way
@@hogskins3043it depends on the car, low torque sports cars like mx5 and rx8 need to be manual to be fun. The 350Z the auto kinda suits the car, especially being more of a heavy GT car
This is straight cap every car with a Vq is worthless DO NOT BUY THEM AT ALL COSTS specially please don’t buy any cars with a vq37vhr they suck trust me buy a bmw or something Edit: look at marketplace, there's a reason why they're all cheap, you specially wanna stay away from g37s with the vq35hr, and you definitely don't want to get anywhere close to ANY 2012+ G37 those are the worst years. Remember they're cheap for a reason
Buy a bmw is crazy cause the maintenance costs are 10x more expensive and they’ll always have an issue to fix no matter what. Grew up in only Ms and they might just be the worst choice if you want even a little change in your pocket.
