from 15:49 to 17:37, your garage demonstration is overlapped by your summary comments, back at your dining room table. other than that, nice review! thanks!
Great repair video. I have the same Farberware Dishwasher. I did have to turn it upside down to empty the fresh water tank. Just turning it on it's side did not work. I finally got it to work after turning it upside down and emptying the fresh water tank. I don't think turning it updide down broke anything because now, it works just fine. Thank you for posting your video.
Mine is a Comfee countertop dishwasher, looks the same as yours, except for the brand name. Error E1 came up repeatedly after the second time when we ran it. *** THANK YOU to the person who mentioned filling it up with HOT WATER. *** Whatever the plug was, it resolved the issue! E1 disappeared and a full wash cycle was completed. So filling it up with HOT WATER it is from now on!
thanx for this mate, did not work at first coz i just nudged it to an angle, but once i watched ya vid i pushed it at more of an angle and the water came pouring out.... up and running again now thanx again !
I live in Florida we're at times the mesquitos are so bad you have to floor the throttle on your bike just so you can see . As effective as the bug zappers are I think the government needs to use industrial versions in certain areas like the parks when the other types of mesquito control has failed to do it's job especially after the out break of triple E in Pasco Florida
If u use well or city, check your water inlet filters on back of the machine also, Mines rca showing e1 with a faucet light I let issue and/or drain issue, checked the drain issue like u did got that fixed now off to water inlet, reason y I said check filter is cuz iron and calcium buildup, does the same to washers which is annoying but doable
thanks but unless I missed this: where is the open/close vent lever the manual mentions but then there's nothing to show where it is or how to access it in the Fan Only section????
Hi Daniël "I've done everything as you instructed to connect the dishwasher to the faucet. When I open the faucet, I see that the water flows through the hose properly and comes out at the end of the hose. When I place the end of the hose at the top of the dishwasher, it fills and beeps. But when I connect the water hose to the bottom of the dishwasher and the faucet is open, I hear nothing, and I don't see water coming out at the top of the dishwasher like yours, and there's no beeping. I press start and know there's water in it, but after 10 minutes, it beeps that there's no water in it. I have to leave the faucet open." Is that normal
I always fill the water from the top, never hooked it up to my faucet. I got E4 code. I disconnected from the wall outlet, removed the dishes, cleaned the filter, disconnected the waste hose thing (I positioned the dishwasher so the dishwasher could shoot directly from the outlet to the sink without a hose), reconnected to wall and then tried another cycle and I got E1. Then I removed all the water by tilting the dishwasher on its side (the water came from the top, which is where I fill the water). I refilled the reservoir with water and tried again, and again I got E1 🤷♂.
For anyone reading who has E1 error code. For me it was clogged water inlet on the left wall. Not even a drop of water came out of that hole, so I just took simple bike tire pump, and pushed some air in that hole. Tried to start dishwasher again, and there it was, water started comming out of it (the water was almost green, with lots of debris), and no more E1. I did it few more times with the pump, and now the water flows like it should. Hope it helps.
happened the same here. blew with a small tube on that hole, then let it run without drain filter and no salt cap. suddenly started again, and it s running in this moment. thanks people!
I have the cookology version with no digital screen and a solid door. Mine is not plumbed in so I fill it with water until it beeps and the hose empties into the sink. It's not even a year old and is not working. It makes the noisy start up sounds then stops and beeps. Tried everything. Does anyone have any ideas?
for anyone who tried this and it STILL said E4 - you need to take of the black plastic panel on the bottom, remove the little square black box connected to it - inside is a polystyrene float - check it hasn’t warped out of shape, flatten it back down and put it back in - solved all my problems!
April 2024! Oh my goodness! I can't tell you what a godsend you are with this video. I'd eventually worked out using the MF attachment along with a split attachment, but I could not find out about filling the dw. I knew you had to turn it on but had no idea you had to actually press start for whichever cycle you wanted too in order for the reservoir to fill up. Also thank you for explaining the safety feature, I had been really concerned about that. I have A Comfee dw, basically the same model but different brand as the one you demonstrate with, and there is no explanation whatsoever about this in the user manual. So, thank you, thank you, thank you again, from 🇬🇧 👍🏽😊.
Thanks for the tip on fixing E4 code. My Comfee brand had the same problem. I think I’ll run an empty rinse about every other wash from now on just to clean out the system from now on.
Thanks for the information! Both error code videos. I have yet to buy one. Will next pay packet. But armed with your advice I feel less reticent to purchase one of the machines. Cheers!
one section of my bulb is glowing reddish near the top and it zaps intermittently. I wonder if a bulb simply needs to be replaced. Mine is as old as your is by now. Any issues with yours? I removed the top and it looked good under the hood but blew cobwebs out. Mine is all clean. Just seems like it's shorting on the grid every so often but maybe a telltale sign of a bad bulb? I use a timer to run from 7pm to 11pm and we love the timer. Thanks for your time.
