i have the same issue with it, even just scrolling through a bunch of programs with the same track. I use to make a beat on one track, upload several prigrams and then scroll through them to choose the best kit for that track i composed, now it's not possible with mpc 3, they must give that back
I just got mine and I’m having a learning curve issue I think. I’m used to fl but I want to expand my knowledge and ability to create on other things. I will stick to it and hope for the best. I’ve heard nothing but great things really.
theres video i saw a guy fixing the slider it include removing some soldering but it works but the idk about the knob but i’d suggest if you not getting any service i’d suggest take the thing to a guy who repair tv remotes or mobile phones or you open it and fix it. but do upload the video after fixing it. i want to know what happen later

Do you haul all those boxes on that dolly? If so, how do you secure them onto it? I have 4 boxes with drawers that i want to haul with my dolly but its just the bottom arms holding all of them up
The A and B is from the Force you know it has that mixer fader slider on the right that has A and B so you can assign sounds to the A and B and crossfade between them.
I am pretty sure on 2.x exploding creates new tracks that point to the same program. Hence in 3.0 when you import they decided to change it to midi which is exactly the same behavior. They probably chose that route instead of copying program on exploded track because it might not work when the ram is an issue. You also keep calling drum track „audio track” which is might be confusing since audio track is audio track;) Anyway, thanks for new info about 3.0
I am not updating to this crap will someone with the Beta software make a video about loading up the old project with the 3.0 software now you lose all your life's work to an update never akai😂
Hope the File browser will have a rework too. You can only go to the previous folder with that tiny little Icon on the file path. This has to be accessible througg a button. Next SEQ. Maybe Also its kind of random how the browser loses the last highlighted folder, if you skip to previous folder. Thats kind of annoying if you have a bunch of files. I would like to be able to navigate and scroll just with my right hand on the knob through my samples. That shift Drive Info Tab is also not necessary, its anyway in the upper tab next to favorite folder 😅
I have a mpclive2 and i send my tracks to my mixer so i can tweak my tracks individually. But I can’t save what I did on my mixer because is not digital like the one u have. So that’s why I was asking about global save

The A-B is something straight from the Force. Its the crossfader. You basically assign tracks to a side and some to the other side and you can volume fade in and out the groups. I wonder how that would work, without a psyical hardware fader. Maybe it was overlooked and got left in or maybe they added a touchscreen/touch strip version..hmm.
Once all the kinks are sorted out 3.0+ will be a lot better IMO… I always felt in order to get most of these features we’ve been wanting Akai had to start from scratch and trim some of the fat from the previous Firmware. BTW, I’m digging the retro style on that Key 37! 👍 🎹 👉 ⬛️ 🔊
