For anyone considering this vacuum for years, I've been a die-hard Dyson fan. My wife recently bought the white version of this vacuum, and to be honest, it's not a gadget I'm usually interested in, but I give credit when it's due and this is the best vacuum I've ever used.
I just got the d1 and I am about to exchange for a d4 or a e3 I want the power head because I want a brush head ! I love the d1 but hate having to bend down to change the speed of the machine or the ability to buy a brush roller in the future I was thinking of a Felix
We rented a cabin and they had this vaccum. It worked great… it got up all the dog hair and crumbs from my kids. I just need to save up a little more money and I’m buying my own. It’s $500 online now.
I have one question. Who was the moron responsible who decided to put swivel wheels on the back of this thing?? When you are pulling this thing around on wood flooring, it goes every direction but straight. Don't waste your money! My parents gave this to me so I didn't pay for it. I now realize how much I actually like and appreciate my Kenmore/Panasonic canister which I've been using sinse the 80's. And the brush for flooring, pushes more debri around than it picks up. You literally have to tilt it back or forward depending on which direction you're vacuuming. And the 360 degree hose doesn't turn freely enough. If you're not careful, the hose will kink.
Did you ever do a pencil sharpener video? I'd be interested in seeing that, as a former teaching assistant who sometimes had to go around the classroom sharpening pencils!
Thank you so much. Had the machine apart to fix a broken trigger switch and of course took the opportunity to clean things up and when put back together the bin mechanism wouldn't slide. Counterintuitive that the seals need dust on them to slide properly. Curious as to how they treat the seals when shipped new from the factory to avoid this.
Do not buy this vacuum cleaner if you have vinyl flooring. It has destroyed my floor due to small pieces of sand / rock geting between brush and the floor. :(
I got this machine at my work place. Its for the company vehicles though. Looks like the company cba to refill the fragrance tank or whatever because you can’t see anything come out its nozzle like you can on your video here. 😂
Great video mate, glad Numatic finally sell a pre treatment for carpet cleaning. Pre treatment is a very important step during carpet cleaning to an effective job. Their cleaning solution is okay buy I prefer to use Prochem.
You sir are a god send! I took my entire Dyson V8 Animal Vacuum apart and took the entire motor head apart as well as the cyclone. I properly sanitized of the red grippy part in the canister bin. Well when I put my vacuum back together and it wouldn’t slide open I totally panicked. I spent about an extra 2 hours troubleshooting and couldn’t find answers anywhere until I came upon your video! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!
Had mine years with a dog that sheds loads of hairs and this hoover is amazing. Just replaced the filters and the suction is back to literally lifting the whole carpet up off the floor. Great machine and never had blockage even with it filling daily with long dog hairs. Tried a few other stick hoovers and this is still the best for getting the pet hairs up.
I bought mine when it was re-listed due to a non paying winning bidder. I didn’t have the top packaging either in my box, but some confetti in the bottom like Kyle’s.@@vacuummad8179
Thanks helpful but would appreciate you taking the filters all out and other bits in the centre bit eg sponge etc and show which way they go back in because I took mine out to wash everything and couldn’t see how to put it all back together for ages. But great thanks for video it def helped.
