Nice to see you again, and an old favourite with the Purepower, indeed Kyle's 1400 S class filtration model with autosense computer control was the top of the line back in its day, and this one is also an early model from the very start of the Purepower's very long life. Purepower was launched as a new model in 1997 supposed to take over from the Turbopower 2, and Turbopower 3, which has been going since 1992/1993. If you remember, the autosense function first featured on the Turbopower 1000 Autosense, from 1993 onwards, and was carried over to feature on the high end models of the all new Purepower range in 1997. The Purepower ran for a very very long time in that same basic design, for well over 20 years, becoming the Enigma in later life, and it was fitted with motor powers ranging from 1200W back in 1997, going up through the power ranges to peak around 2200W by 2014, after which it had to come back down again, with very late eco models having little more than 450W motors. A very very successful design for Hoover the Purepower was, and Kyle should keep hold of the Austosense 1400S model he has, as they are pretty rare and sought after nowadays.
Are people really that obsessed with hoovers? I had 13 in my loft when i moved 13 yrs ago, n ive now got 3 miele hoovers... Maybe im obsessed 😂several lads, young lads are hoover mad that i know! What is it with hoovers... Please explain as im not sure but i cant bear a rubbish hoover, dysons are the worst in my opinion... Genuinely interested as to what makes hoovers some people's thing!
