literally the WORST video - WTF don't you just go thru the exact things you need to do, checklist etc and actually effing talk...terrible video mate - shows nothing for ANY aspiring gyro pilots
You should go 'back to an earlier time, where you started spinning the rotor by hand, then using whatever wind around to increase revs.. Then taxiing, etc, till nose lifts, push stick forward and accelerate . Very shortly you have lift off. This teaches how the gyro works.
To anyone thinking this is boring - you are right! This is called training 1 part 1, because it is the first video I ever made, of my first ever gyrocopter lesson. It's not meant to train other people. I learnt from this video I needed a cable so the radio could be recorded, and I got more aggressive on editing. If you look at newer videos on my channel you'll find some more interesting ones . I quite like the one of "S-turn into the numbers" and the video of my first solo flight. Happy flying! I'm not sure. But we've got our 500 hour service coming up, which includes a rotor rebalance, so we'll see if things improve. But to be honest, I don't even notice it - possibly the video makes it look worse than it is in real life.
Why the rotor is rotating while youre not moving? Is it connected to the engine? If its not connected to engine why the rotor is rotating while youre not moving? Thanks
good quality video but meaningless without explanation could have been great. every time we see something happen we need you to explain it. that way we learn and appreciate what you are doing please add narration, bet that would make the dislikes go away, cos everything else is great
Looks like you are wearing a body bag suit. Very considerate to those tasked with dragging it out. After flying an unbalanced clothes washer on spin cycle until your arm goes numb. The thrill is gone.
