question mark kick belong to a rising kick category, not roundhouse. You are suppose to convince your enemy that you going to execute front kick before switching to that.
Wrong, its just like the difference between an elbow and a punch , a punch has more velocity but is lighter while an elbow is heavier but slower, kicking closer to the knee produces this heavier affect like an elbow, which is why the guy gets moved so much. Both an elbow or punch can knock you out an same with knee or foot. This kick in the video was just below the knee on the high part of the shin making it a combination of a knee and kick. Think before you comment, not as you comment.
Long time ago i use to use this kick in streetfighting... And it worked out. Every time! I fighted against skilled fighters only. Impossible to stop this kick with your hands!
Very different imo. The Brazilian Kick is more in an upward direction coming from a knee feint. The Mountain Storm Kick is more like a roundhouse kick going downwards.
Muay Thai recognuzes Yaw Yan as its Filipino counterpart but Yaw Yan developed independent of Muay Thai- Yaw Yan's founders weren't even aware of Muay Thai's existence. TEchnical difference between MT and YY is in the kicks- Yaw Yan fighters favor downward cutting kicks.
Yes,yao-yan style, is a dance of death very powerful...1975 to 1976 i had learned such.martial arts until.now even.i.am.senior but still in my.daily.routine such.game its very amazing...
Mate you are just using sophist semantics with the words thrust and push. Use actual physics terms and have a real conversation instead of this pseudo intellectual reactive nonsense you are typing.

The Yaw-Yaw ladies shown in this videos are all from Yaw-Yan Buhawi in Marikina, Philippines under Master Rey Yap. Yaw-Yan Buhawi and Master Rey Yap should have been acknowledged in this video as well as the owner of the video/footage. I hope permission was asked to use the video.. I'm not even sure the owner of the video knows that his video was used by someone else.). Anyway, it's not too late ( 7 years after) to ask permission and give proper acknowledgement. Mabuhay ang Yaw-Yan!
Thank you for having this video with training video. It's sometimes my dilemma to attend training as I am worried that I seems just trying hard to follow training

Im a filipina i train muay thai but its more like muay thai mixed with kickboxing. OMG i didnt even know we had this fighting style. This move reminds me of bruce lees side kick combined with the muay thai body kick. Salamat🙏
First of all I love your Demon Hunter profile picture! Since you have already studied Muay Thai you are probably doing well in Yaw-Yan since it has kickboxing elements.
