my father said that the restaurant had ''pelaris'' which means a sacred paper with a djinn in it. in our religion, using that is prohibited and it could lead to shirk(praising other religion gods other than your god). i learn this when i was 10 years old in kuala lumpur.
The first step is to decide which visa to use to enter Malaysia. I entered Malaysia on an Employment Pass after changing jobs with a Malaysian company.

I'll have to try the mini tomatoes some time. I tried making tomato pasta using regular tomatoes, but the tomatoes here aren't sweet enough to make it enjoyable. I've ended up buying Cirio Passatta Tomato Puree (Italy) for when I really want to make my own tomato-based pasta. Barilla is also my choice pasta too. メニューを考えるのが面倒なので - 分かる! 🤣 As someone who lives alone and tries to cook 4 days a week, I end up cooking the same thing often just so I don't need to think of a new menu. Too bad about the onions, but it didn't look too bad? I've burnt garlic a few times because I forgot to turn down the heat enough myself 😅 Good luck with the beef stew next time!
You can try pasta with mini tomatoes if you like! If you make the tomato sauce and keep it in the fridge for a day, the acidity will decrease. I really admire you for living alone and cooking for yourself.
@@suddenlymovingtomalaysia6135 Thank you for the tips, I'll go look for some mini tomatoes this weekend and try it out 😄 Thank you for your kind words too! I didn't use to cook since eating out in Singapore is cheap. When COVID started, I started cooking more so I wouldn't need to go out as much. Now, I'm just used to it so I keep doing it. Also, rent in Singapore is expensive so single people like me only rent rooms and not houses. Most places you rent won't allow you to cook at home, so I decided I'd continue cooking while I still can 😅

Kenny Hills Bakers menu prices are quite expensive as it is considered as an upscale, artisan cafe. It is locally Malaysian owned, and currently has already expanded to 6 locations/branches. The first cafe officially opened in 2014, at its original location, which is of course, Kenny Hills or Bukit Tunku. This area is the neighbourhood where the very elite and ultra rich local Malaysians live in 😁
When I was living in Japan, I went to a ramen restaurant on a trip. I ordered tonkotsu ramen, but the ramen came out tasting like instant ramen with milk, and it was very bad. It was quite expensive, and it was the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. An unforgettable memory.😩
Living in Malaysia, I have seen many wild animals next to my house. Monkeys, Iguana, Foxes, Civet, dogs and even pythons. The Malaysian Animal Control, will catch and release them back into the forest.
Its ironic that when once the Japanese was among the most hated in this region had now been among the most liked esp in Malaysia. My late grandmother who herself experienced first hand Japanese brutality in her kampung in Perak during the occupation of early 40s never recovered from it until her last day. My father then went to Japan in the 60s for a 2 year course in cooperative and had a pic wearing a samurai like dress, a period of reconciliation between both countries. Both of them had since then developed a unique relationship. And why do you blur your family's faces man? At least show your kids' cute faces.
1. They blurred their faces due to privacy matters. Reasonable and fine by me. 2. The atrocities committed by past generations of any nations should not necessarily be attributed with prejudice towards the current generation unless they are still engaged in it or at least, being fond of it as some sort of legacy.
@@MatPost the problem with older uneducated innocent and traumatic kampung folks of that period is they couldnt understand that. I remember that one day in the early 70s when my father brought his japanese friends to our house in Melaka at that time where our grandmother was staying together, we all had a photo session together. After that she confessed to me that she could not even look at the man's face though standing side by side in that session, due to past memories of just 30 years back. We the present gen who never experienced anything like that plus being highly educated, can of coz easily talk.
Yeah, Japan attack Malaysia because they want to colonise Malaysia and take raw materials from Malaysia. The Japanese Army knew that Malaysia has rich of raw materials. It was terrifying. Back then we thought that Japan will save us from British. At the end, we've been colonised by the Japanese. Many things has been changed like we were forced to sing 'Kimigayo' at schools, All newspapers are written in Japanese, We were forced to speak Japanese and more.
Dan jepun. Berjaya halau kuasa barat dan mula jajah malaysia selama beberapa tahun je tapi sebenarnya malaysia untung gak merasa budaya jepun yang dibawa semasa zaman jajahan jepun dpt la rasa budaya dia zmn nenek moyang kita belajar bhs jepun buat pertama kali selain bahasa inggeris semasa zaman Britain
@@afizi1213 bro, untung takda nyer bawah jajahan imperialisme dari barat mahupun timur. yg penting nyer generasi skrang belajar dari kesilapan generasi lepas utk membina generasi yg bagus di masa hadapan.
The noisy performance you saw was actually lion dance (獅子舞い). It's usually done when there is an opening of a new shop which is believed to bring good luck ~~
Your son normally very cheerful and interactive with strangers but this time he seems to be very shy.🤔 So fast 1 year already passed, I hope you guys are adapting well to live in Malaysia. I see more and more Japanese moving to Malaysia and they seem to be enjoying the life here especially the local food and public holidays.😄
me and my family often go to this park.. this is my first time seeing the pond is drying up in your video, maybe they want to cleanup the water... my children love to feed the fish and turtle in this pond everytime we go
hey, I've been to this central market area last month and it's a beautiful area, the first time I saw a big tall tower there near the chow kit area and next to it is Merdeka square after the river, the food there is delicious, enjoy your trip
