It has been a year since we suddenly moved to Malaysia.
I am posting the daily life of a non-English speaking family abroad.

ahh I hope to visit Japan one day and take as many pictures and videos about the atmosphere and culture there 😆but before that I have to learn about their language

if you want buy japanese snacks that is muslim friendly, you should look out for ingredients that has pork, chicken, beef, gelatin, alcohol & even some emulsifiers. Yes muslims can eat chicken and beef but it needs to be halal meat. So the safest & easiest way is to find something that’s suitable for vegetarians but just make sure there’s no alcohol at least. Hopefully this can help you 😅

Thanks for letting me know. Alcohol too, yes. I tended to forget that it is also in sweets. I think Japanese sweets are delicious, but it's hard to find halal ones.

We used to have video rental stores in Malaysia, but I feel they lost to pirated DVDs. Nowadays, you have streaming too, so it's wouldn't have ended well for them either.
