What’s the point of the cruise control then? You said it to your desired speed. YOUR DESIRED SPEED. not the person in front. I hate it. I turn it off immediately when I hit the highway. I’ll be passing that person in front of me., without deactivating the cruise control let off the gas and go back to the desired speed that I chosen not the persons I just passed
Nice video. Once you go high end with bells and whistles if you can afford it you never want to go back in the other direction. I like 3D cameras and hope they put them in the Maverick next year. I will be looking to replace one of my older vehicles next June.
I noticed in the slippery sand section you said "weight on the front". This in fact is incorrect. You want to weight the rear, and get weight off the front so it doesn't want to sink and and make the condition worse. Also, like you said, gas, gas, lots of gas.
I got fooled into buying an early model and it had a controller issue and the bike would die unexpectedly. Scary. Bought a 2016 FX after a few years but little mileage, the batteries failed. 😢
I too am 5' 8" and 175 lbs. This is tailored to me! I almost ordered the softer spring until I saw this video. I don't plan on hauling gear, but I do plan on riding hard... or getting fat in old age. Either way I'm glad I saw this!
I ordered a 2025 Hybrid 2 weeks ago. Now the waiting begins! I got the Lariat with a moonroof for my wife and the 4K Tow for a trailer we hope to get by next summer. I would have like to have seen both front seats being electric with driver 1 and 2 settings. I don't really care about the navigation, but it comes with it. Mine is coming in just over $41K! It has reassured me to see everyone that has liked their choice!
Thanks for showing that top collar goes in back. Another video shows it incorrectly going in front and I couldn't get it. Wasted an hr. before doing more research.
O/K in my personal opinion, it's not a truck. It is a SUV. I like it, i would buy this SUV. Your Maverick looks amazing. From how i grew up, a pickup truck has an 8ft bed and is a single cab and I've had 3 of them 2 fords and a dodgey. Now in my senior years i would buy either the Maverick or the Honda Ridgeline. I do like the sport utility of these vehicles without the harsh ride of real pickup trucks and i no longer need an 8ft bed. Again i say that your Maverick looks amazing in hot chili red and the blacked edition. Just change out your rear roof light to the smokey one that is available from Amazon. 👍👍👍👍👍🍻 Oh yah ,great video.
I have the same bike and boots, adjusted the shifter from one spline, but the problem was the shifter hits the engine cover. Maybe I just need to bend the shifter a little bit.
I just got one also. It is so much fun. The sand definitely Sucks. Here in Florida, i have to deal with it a lot. I have had it for 3 months now, and i do alright. Lots to learn. Regular sand im ok, deep stuff 😬. Gone down a few times. Looks like you are doing pretty well. Everyone needs a street bike and a dual sport. Great video, as always.
I bought an XLT, and my buddy got a Lariat. He specifically spends 95% of his time on the highway, so he wanted the adaptive cruise/lane assist. While I'm the opposite with 95% of my miles being city. I barely get to use regular cruise control. All in all, we are both happy. If anything, I'm curious if I would be happy with just an XL, I think I would be.
Use a pipe expander go real slow and if you feel the need to cover it in soot and torch it till the soot burns off no more you have just un kneeled the aluminum easier to work with but the pipe expander should work
Great video . Thanks a lot . I wonder if I need to get the blank off plates 🤔🤔🤔I’ve changed plugs before now I want to sync the carbs while I install braided hoses the tank will be off anyway !👍👍
Well it is good to see this motorcycle through some of the worst road conditions a bike can deal with, loads of snirt. I have been considering getting my first motorcycle and more specifically this Honda one too. Right now I ride bikes and I have ridden through these kinds of conditions before. I have on a Norco 2019 bigfoot 2 bike. I now also have a Radrunner 2 ebike but I have not ridden through much snirt on that. I don't think it will take it as well as my Norco does. The Honda is showing some promise for winter riding moreso than other bikes I have seen. I take it is due to the dual sport nature of it and there is an ABS option for it too. That said looks to me you don't have the ABS version as I don't see the ABS control button to the right side of the display.
