I’m thinking about buying one but I’m looking at the ones that don’t have the prefabbed mounting holes. Do you think it’s feasible given the angle of the bolts to drill them into the spoiler once it’s aligned to its mounting position?
My 24 F56 has a 7 speed DCT. It took me awhile to get used to it coming from a car with a CVT. It can be jerky at low speeds, and when I'm stuck in traffic it acts like it struggles to figure out what it wants to do, as I move forward just a few feet at a time. It still feels like a good match for a sporty car, and in most cases it shifts smoothly.
@@carcreationsyt I never use sport or green mode. Someone told me if I put it in green mode it will help in traffic jams. Others have told me it's a DCT and it's common for them to be jerky at low speeds.
Mini if fixing this problem for free. I got my letter in U.S. 2016 F57. Extended warranty for this issue to 10 year 120 K for miles. Took 3 days no charge.
My 2018 Mini Cooper had halogen headlights and stock taillights (not the led ones). Could I just plug this Union Jack taillights without having to code anything? thanks

a bit late to the party. Found a second hand full system identical to yours from a countryman at a breaker - good price in my opinion. Does the unit store any vehicle details and needs (re)coding? Or what coding is needed in order to fit it in my countryman? thank you for any information

Reliable? Depends on which model and spec. My R56S was absolute garbage because of that atrocious excuse of an engine. My wifes R56D now has 550,000km and is still on it's original clutch, original turbo, original injectors, has had some engine mounts and keep reprogramming the body control module that's about it. So the Mini can be the best car in the world and complete garbage at the same time.
I gave up trying to convince people how reliable the F series is a long time ago. Ive modded and driven the wheels off of several of them and they just keep on going lol. A used F series is one of the best fun car bargains period! New is a different story. Still reliable but 40k is pushing it for one of these. There are better cars for that money. If you can find a well taken care of example for about 15-25ish grand it will leave you smiling for years!
Yeah you’re completely right. A used mini fridge series is an insane bargain right now. Been trying to convince everyone I know to get one right now as the prices have really dropped
Just bought 2019 cooper s and have frame rail damage - the right side is push outward. Replacing front end bits and pieces .. Hoping to get it straightening or replaced. So many people said to turn it into a parts go but no chance I am doing that. Was is costly to get straightened ? Look forward to next video

My first Mini was a new 2008 R56 Mini One and I had it until 2017 without any problems other than wear and tear, sold in 2017 with almost 80000 miles on the clock. Replaced it with an F56 Cooper which is now at 32000 miles with no problems apart from usual wear and tear. Minis are like all cars , look after them and you should'nt have any problems.
My 2024 Mini Countryman F60 was flawless just minor wind noise few missing trims dealer took care of that they knew it was forgotten to install windows seal from factory warranty claim no more wind noise 15K miles Took care of maintenance and some preventative maintenance I got free maintenance from mini good for 3 years or 36K miles my plans to bring car to 300K miles or more I will be have less problems in future and cost 1. Rule is take care of car it will outlast you lifetime and less problems with it
My auto F56 JCW is just about to turn three years old, so being in the UK that means the end of the manufacturers warranty on it. This is the first car that I’m going to pay for an extended warranty on. Whilst they might be reliable, if I’m unfortunate to have an issue, the repairs costs are astronomical, so I think I’m better to be safe than sorry!
I currently have a manual 2014 Mini Cooper S at 115k miles that I've had for nearly 3yrs. No major issues, other than false alarms from me being paranoid lol... For fun, upgraded the tires and intercooler and added a piggyback tune. New upper and lower engine mount on the way with stiffer powerflex bushings! For peace of mind, flushed the transmission fluid a couple times, and had the intake valves walnut blasted. Oil changes every 5-7k miles. Plan on doing a coolant flush soon.
@@carcreationsyt just the Burger Motorsport JB+ for now. Drove with it as delivered for about a year, then recently tried to dial up the circuit board to the max...but that made the engine sound like the lifters clanking real bad. So I've been driving without the JB+ in at all for about a month just to make sure I didn't do any permanent damage - all seems good now other than the engine mount issues, being replaced this weekend. Having to prioritize other things before considering the JB4.
