high i just bought the new 490xt and was supper excited about the watchdog system shutting the machine down when out of paint. is there a feature to turn this on? cause my machine just runs.

I think the audio demo may work better in person. From my computer speaker system the knocking on the new 494XT was louder than the older unit. Can the new style pump work on the older units?
I've got a lot of gen 1 lids and liners left over. And now have a gen 2 gun gen 1 gun is no longer working. Is there any way to use gen 1 system lids and liners with the gen 2 gun?
If pump armour is antifreeze (Glycol) as everyone says it is, gloves should be worn....crazy toxic, even on the skin. And, don't leave it slopped around your garage floor, pets will drink it....end of your dog. Google that one...
The only thing that was said was that jobs never take just one day. So do you need to clean this at the day of each day. Or can the paint stay in the hose over night ready to continue the next day?

Mine just keeps clogging & clogging & clogging & clogging. Changed the mesh. Changed the seal & tips - Strain paint through a pair of tights - thin it. Nothings working. Just keeps clogging.
Hey! Question for you guys... When The Graco 490/495 XT is under pressure, do you notice that its drops by 10 PSI every 30seconds or so, and then after about 2minutes it make a tiny pump and brings it back to the original set pressure 🤔 i am wondering if this is normal, maybe cause of the new claims it always keeps a super consistent pressure... Just hoping the seals arent some how worn, i just bought it and used twice lol, seems to spray like any other Graco machine 👌🏼
The problem with hvlp is that you have to dilute the paint to such extend that you destroy the properties of the paint. You either have to spray automotive paints or buy industrial grade paints designed for furniture spraying with an hvlp gun, which are not easy to come by and have to be bought in larger quantities, minimum 5liter. Airless sprays prety much anything without dilution.
I make Acoustic Guitars and would love to learn the best procedure for spraying this one speciality.. Most of these instructional videos on YT are quite generalised.. talking Cars or kitchen cabinet doors and still leaves me with so many questions.. Ideally what I would like is to go on a course (perhaps a couple of days) to learn about my specific requirements including best equiptment, most suitable Lacquers.. what works with what.. even workshop humidity.. temperature etc Anybody know of any such courses in UK Ideally South east..
