Nice little trip to the Goodwill. It’s funny how we all have our little niches. I totally avoid the office supply aisle. The chaos gives me anxiety. I find myself straightening up all of the time 🤣 I am the person who picks up the stuff other people drop and leave on the ground. Or if I find something that’s part of a set and it’s not with its “family” I have to reunite them.
I wish you had gotten the 1948 baby book. Can't believe a family threw out grandma's baby pictures. Just to buy it would be showing some respect for that old lady.
It is going to take at least a moBeing a one woman show is hard work!!!!th to catch up on all of your listings! Why not ease yourself back into the video world, when you are ready, buy doing some what sold videos? Being a one-woman show is hard work!
I never knew how bad the San Gabriel Valley was until i moved from home into another area. My mom and i suffered from allergies, my mom especially. I grew up thinking all California was like that. I have not really been bothered with allergies for many years now.
Truthfully, it only got harder when buying stuff for personal use when resellers started taking over, lol. I’ve been going to the Vancouver bins since it was still in the back of the goodwill store. I have seen all the changes and people who come and go. I buy for both personal & resale. The majority of people that go these days are resellers though ❤
It kinda seems that way… I think I would get to impatient if I was just going for myself. Because that would truly be a diamond finding the right clothes / shoe sizes. But having a wide range to resell makes it more fun for sure (for me) 😝
Charity I found a Hammit in Minneapolis. I took a picture of it and sent a email to Hammit to ID it and they sent me a email back telling me when it was made, where, designer and value new. Don’t faint when they tell you how much it was. Ps all Hammit have the round metal things on it. It’s part of their brand. Good luck. I got 350. For mine.
There are a lot of factors. Many knockoffs do well known brands and designs because those are what people usually want. Also the quality is ALWAYS lacking in fakes. But after you compare a bunch of fakes to the real thing it becomes much easier to spot. Chanel is the only hard one for me currently. I think I’m least knowledgeable in Chanel dupes
Wörishofer [worries ho fair😉] shoes have a special insole with different air-filled chambers. They were invented in the small Bavarian town Bad Wörishofen, which is not far from where I live. These shoes were very famous in the 80s. And expensive! Funny to see such an old pair again. You pronounced Lagerfeld quite correct. It's "lager (like in Lager beer) felt". 👍
