Well there is a first for everything! I didn’t realize until editing that the vibtage coach bag was gone from my cart! Booooooooo! It was such a great find! It was a super busy day at the bins and I was not near my cart all the time anddddd someone with sticky fingers took the bag 😭😭😭 Still happy of course with the other items! But what a bummer!

You are a trooper for that to happen to you and just move on...Lol! I shop the bins and have a co-shopper with me to watch the cart at all times. You never can be too over protective of those treasures, you got to hide the good stuff.

The lady who was next to you when you found the bag that disappeared.. after you tossed it into your cart she moved on to the other side of the bins. She had a black purse with a shoulder strap that was being held by the strap. She was looking around and moved a few bins away. Check your video. Amazing how people steal even in the G.W. Bins. 😮

Happens to me in Dallas constantly. I generally just grab large totes and personally carry everything. We aren't allowed to take our carts near the bins. They have to be lined up on the wall, so we can't be with them.

I went to the bins last year and someone took my entire cart with 6 items in it - I think that they quickly covered the items with other things and it was totally gone - nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere - it had been right beside me - I looked in a bin and turned around and it was gone! I was so sad as well.

A few years ago my brother was visiting and I took him to the bins, his first ever trip. He found a Carhartt coat. We we’re getting ready to leave and he noticed his coat was gone from his cart. We start looking around and we see this guy put it on and walk out of the store. Not only did he steal it from us, he stole it from the bins! 🤦‍♀️ people!

And because of theft, the employees are extra edgy. At a regular Goodwill store a while ago, I saw a fella wearing a jacket, and when he checked out, they asked if he was gonna pay for that jacket. He assured them: I wore this in here. They were really aggressive about it, that he did not. So he finally laughed and threw up his hands and said, ok, charge me for it. The punch line here is that he very much did wear it in; I was pretty confident I saw that he wore it in. But fighting with them wasn't worth wrecking his rep or mine (as we both were frequent shoppers there), and we just learned the lesson that you just leave your coat in the car before entering. It's sad that they have to be so on edge like that. And yea, like a ton of things, the bad behavior of some wrecks it for everyone.

How can a Goodwill worker keep his eye on every person coming in and remembering everything they wore coming in ....they cant ...and believe me they have so many coats one less wont hurt them ....the customer is always right anyway ...

@@mariascudder3277 Well, you would think so, but I think that day she was just loaded for bear, and who knows, maybe her supervisor gave her heck for people stealing - you just never know. In the end, I felt sorta bad for her, overall. But yea, the era of the customer being always right is looking to be over.

Man, such bad Karma for them stealing an item like that from you. I think you are a really good person to move on and just say Oh Well. I love your videos, but to be honest. As soon as you go to the stinky nasty dirty shoes I ALWAYS fast forward or turn the video off. TOO much time spend digging through stinky shoes! Gross.

It’s funny because when I first started buying in mass from the bins I always skipped the shoes because it looked absolutely unappealing. But I decided to check them out and I saw the potential but I don’t get the super dirty. I just can’t deal with the cleaning, funk, etc.
