Let's face it, cars are awesome. We love working on them and we love driving them. Here's a tribute to enjoying those days that we can ride with the windows down and our worries in the rear view mirror.
Great vid. So many YTB'rs don't get beginner tutorial. This is the first vid I have found that gives the slip solution formula and gave clear expectations of process. Good vid bruh
@@windows_down_thank you! I get confused because the video redline360 did of the headlights they said theres a black with tinted lens, chrome, black smoked and just black housing model.
Is it just me or is the fitment pretty bad on these headlights? The huge gap at 7:45 would drive me insane to look at. How have these held up since this was posted?
Becuause it's yours, not thier car, they don't care, It's a pinch weld, IDK why "mechanics " "tire" insist on jacking from there, OR the differential, one kid at a tire place did it in front of me! I was very adamant he is not to do that, he looked confused, said the ALWAYS DO IT, I said use the damn frame jack spots to lift my vehicle. Unfortunaly many vehicle mfr manuals say to lift it there too. I suppose they don't give a hoot who destroys your vehicle. They're just waiting for your next vehicle purchase.
Awesome, thank you. Love the Z too...nice seeing one still on the road! Had a 1978 as my very first car... Geez that was a long time ago ! Loved that straight 6 engine.
Does anyone know, I've already removed, cleaned, and wet sanded my lights.. dried overnight, and I've clear coated them (spray gloss clear enamel)... Question is, can I polish these out now with a little wax, essentially polishing the clear coat?
Thanks for this vid. I have not changed mine yet, but I am going to follow your procedure for sure. Very concise instructions with a bit of humor thrown in, love it! Thanks again!
Is it possible that sensors are bad and there is no engine light? I have problems with my car and I'm about to replace all camshaft and a crankshaft sensor because I dont know anymore what could be wrong but I don't have any codes or nothing when i scan it.. (nissan 350z vq35hr). Thanks in advance!
*Help* The window is stuck down on 06 G35 coupe. My motor is making noise but won't spool!? Or that's what I can see? I'm assuming that it's the motors gearing?
I have a '72 Z and I've got it restored and updated all around, except the suspension. I only have lowering coils and want coil overs and T3 components front and rear. What you have produced here is one of or even the best I've seen for doing all this work. Your mechanical pointers are precise, and your methods show a home shop mechanic can do most everything. Huge thanks for your work doing this video. I can't wait to watch more.
i have a problem and is that after replacing i do all the steps at the end and it works no check engine or nothing but when i turn the car off and try to turn it back on it has a hard start and i have the cts, slip and check engine light 😢 already changed the sensor twice, checked the harness, and replaced the battery any ideas?
The Honda K series is a great engine, but I just can’t see how it’s worth the trouble and expense when you can easily turbo the L28, or swap in a RWD Nissan KA24 DOHC, or SR20DET. This Honda swap must add thousands and thousands of cost with custom trans Adaptor, custom cross member , different trans, etc…
Definitely not cheap.. L28 is great but it's an old design: 2 valve, no vtc, exhaust manifold right under intake, less efficient, etc. Wanted something more modern. SR20DET with a trans is outrageous now, over $7k sometimes. KA24, not well informed on them, but I'd guess that trans would have to be upgraded for 350+hp and not sure on engine internals. If I could chose again, may look more into 1JZ more, maybe slightly cheaper overall than K series, but hard to say
Glad to see this. Everything ive seen from apex is shit. All cheap stuff that doesnt fit right or work right and they keep they keep having people spend thousands just to not work right with poor customer service
Are u still active I have a question of what u experience when driving with a bad p0340 sensor. I’ve been thinking my clutch was slipping because the rpms raise but the car doesn’t accelerate much, which is a known symptom of a slipping clutch. My can sensor light recently came on and I think that’s what’s making it feel like my clutch is slipping. I’m hoping that’s changing the sensor with fix the “clutch slipping ” feeling. What do u think did u experience the feeling of the clutch slipping?
I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coup non rev up. With Brembo Brake Package. I just started getting a code for PO 340 - Camshaft Position Sensor A - Ban 1 Circuit Malfunction but I also got another code at the same time for PO 327 - Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input Bank 1 or Sensor 1. Do you think the Camshaft Position Sensor is triggering the 2nd code?
