That’s me Gary, thanks for answering my burning question about Jen and you not being family. I am shocked and sad at the same time, I was so sure, but so happy you are longtime friends 😊 This Q&A was so much fun. Looking forward to what is to come with TheWildYam & the cabin, I am very envious of your cabin Jen 😊
Great Q&A. You mentioned enclosing the porch on your cabin. I did that about 10 years ago on mine. What a diffeeence. The porch was worthless open as summer too many bugs and winter useless. Now it’s like having a second room and can enjoy nature with no bugs. I had four big windows so still have great view.
Just viewed your Q@A updates ,Nice to hear your back history and see Gary in a different light 😀 Jen- Do you have a faith? or spirituality like Gary And I think by what you are saying you have been lucky by not having many close encounters with wildlife ,knowing what to do I am sure in time I can ask a few more questions for your lovely channel Have a great hols with the Reeds sharing experiences 🙏🇨🇦🏕
Hi Jen and Gary, Great Q&As thanks for sharing and bless your friendship for many many more years really enjoyed the video. Love how similar you both are. I'll be popping over to your Channel a lot more.Gage and Reece (hope I got the name right)... they were having a blast together ❤ 💓 ❤💚👍☘ Question Jen have you any plans to go visit Gary later in the year or soon 😊 id love to hear your thoughts on the swamp and see you both doing paranormal investigations there...❤👻❤☘
Kinda funny story about the only mushroom kit I have ever bought. It was morrells and they had one of those little fake logs in a container you were supposed to keep wet. I did what the instructions said and I don't remember how much time went by but it was ideal weather here for mushrooms and fungi. Months and months went by. I finally decided it was a dud. I took it out of the container and tossed it on the ground. Weeks later it rained for a few days and I was sitting on my porch and was looking at my yard and realized there was a line of morrels going from that log all the way across my yard!!! I called a couple of my girlfriends and asked them if they wanted some and they of course declared me crazy for eating non-store-bought mushrooms. I was hoping they would keep coming back in that spot but where I am in Texas there are hardly any edible mushrooms here, at least not ones I like.
I've watched Gary a long time and have seen you on his channel, so at Gary's request, I'm checking you out 😳😁 Just kidding, Gary has never steered me wrong. 🤔😂 Gary & Gage are relaxing & informative for me. Lot of respect for Sir Gary! It's good to see friendships lasting this long. I used to have a few, but unfortunately, they're all gone now. People alive I've known for 30+years are my kids. (Sometimes I don't know who they are 😂) I just don't associate with a lot of folks anymore. I'm old and give out. 😁 So, I'm a new subscriber, be gentle 😁! Rule of thumb for bears, "If it's brown, lay down & if it's black, fight back (especially assaulting there nose) - if its white, you're screwed"! Have a large day 🙏👍
Good morning! I can be philosophical about Grizzlies until I see the size of their shoulders!!😅Good Q+A. Friendships like your are a pot of gold. 👍😎🇨🇦🐻
GM Jen and Gary . . great Q/A can't wait for you (Jen) can go visit Gary early fall/spring (no bugs) that would be awesome adventure for sure lots of going on @ his neck of the woods (swamp) 🐾🐶♥️🙋♀️
The sticky stuff is the result of “worm burn”. It happens when rubber worms and lures come in contact with plastic and other polymers, for example the clear coating on Rapalas, bobbers, etc.. The needle is most likely for inflating worms to make them float/suspend off the bottom. You have lots of good stuff there.
Great stuff, Jen, a five flavoured berrie. I've never tried but had other similar Berries from canada 🇨🇦, I can't buy the jam on keto, just to try, Your dog liked it Where do they grow in the wild, mostly
Hey Jen- How's was the change in time Zone and adapting to Alberta ❤, I visited Alberta Sept 22,loved every minute ❤ , visited this zoo, and I didn't see any polar bears at this time ,I did spend all day there seeing as much as I could ,Yes on wolves - I visited a rescue Wolfdog sanctuary called Yamuska RIP the Polar Bear 🙏 I am sure you loved your Zoo adventure and wild gardens .You're not too young to play in the playgrounds ,I did, lol
some short planks of plywood and a futon matteress made my Chevy Equinox great to sleep in.....most stuff i brought went in roof top plastic car carrier, totes....tarp to make a shower and shower bag and im good to go!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. This video is very informative; I appreciate the details! I am now more prepared for my cardiac ablation surgery (for SVT) tomorrow. And I'm thankful that you finally had a successful surgery! ❤
Nice trip nice vid. Can I say 1 thing. I might get into fishing for the dinner out there and I'm just starting to learn ( i'll do my own crash course)...but one thing I've heard multiple times already is to NEVER click the bail over..manually click it over. Apparently leads to a whole lot of problems. And I believe when you start reeling it back in there should be zero slack...should be taut. hey I'm just learning.
Very neat device. When I was 12, I set up a Brownie camera on a tree with a string attached to the shutter then leading down the tree and out in front of the tree with a bait. It actually took a photo!
Hey Jen, I have tried to reply to your question, but it keeps disappearing. Sorry if you have gotten three answers 😊. If you can't see it just let me know and I will post the answer here. Thanks and Sorry 😊
I have a Terra 10 I got from Field and stream for about $50. Still has the original batteries I put in it. They show almost full after 2 years. I had to block off most of the info red because it was so brite. Only use it once in a while. We live in town and have a half acre. See a lot of wildlife. Deer, turkey, squirrels, raccoons and fox. Did see a raggedy coyote once. Had a pet door in the screen door and had a raccoon come in and eat some bread through the packaging I had on the table.
I have some great videos that were recorded this week that I can't wait to show you. The wildlife really don't notice the camera . Quality on the video is awesome.
@@TheWildYam I just bought this camera, I can't wait to try it. I would like you to upload the videos that have been recorded with this camera so that we can appreciate the video quality.
We have seven cameras up over our property. Just checked them a couple of days ago, some good sized racks in velvet. Ours are all solar, a very good decision.
I need to look into that trail cam. One I have now has lasted me at least 7 years. Paid about $60 for it. The night shots are not as great now but I doubt I could find this same camera today.
That's really good longevity for a trail camera. I don't think you'd find a cam that would last like that . They don't make things the way they used to.
@@TheWildYam some time ago maybe last summer you were at Princess auto and picked up a trail cam which was the one I have. You commented a good price. I replied that I have that camera and it’s great for the price and has been working for a long time.
