Great video as always. Still ice on the lake here at the other side of the "pond". We are out with our Off Grid RV. Long walks in the woods with our Riesenschnauzer Sigge. Life is good. Have an amazing Sunday/Andreas
Our taps are in as well here in Northwestern Ontario. About 3 weeks ago we had a few days flow. So this week we will se warm temps in the day, and proper temps at night conducive to the flow. We have zero snow here, lots of ice however in the bush. Have fun and enjoy..Fred
Taps here in northeast Pa and NJ are in too…not much snow fell and we have seen warm temps too. Thanks for sharing this w us! Hugs to Royce! Lisa🥰🥾🥾🐾🐾🥶
Sure has been an odd season! I've been collecting sap for more than a week now, from my two huge trees. So far more than 40 gallons, and I've had to pause boiling a couple of days due to weather. Today it's snowing, just north of Newmarket. Sap should start up again tomorrow, when the sun comes out. Best wishes to you, Jen!! ❤❤
Pine siskins, never heard of that kind of bird, they remind me of the Canada Bird- white throated sparrow or chickadees, w totally different song. Maybe in my midst too, unusual pitchy sounds from pines! Great tap lines! Fresh maple water's quenching, lots of minerals, electrolytes, almost as expensive in stores as syrup, pennies to make! ;)
