Just for anyone else wanting to get the SATA tool: It is now avaiable from another brand: Crescent. Both Crescent and Sata are owned by the Apex Tool Group, so I am guessing they rebranded the tool to the brand that best fit it.
i pruchased the tracer pencil for marking deep holes but since i purchased the marksman the tracer has pretty much become a normal pencil , the marksman is a fantastic bit of kit
Germany. Known for its engineering. When I was young (which wasn't too long ago) Germany and Japan were where the quality was considered to be. Especially in their cars. Those box-cutters look handy. I think youtubers need those because all those unboxing videos have influencers pulling out all sorts of swords to open their boxes lol
Yeah the knife is definitely dsigned / meant for fishermen or hunters. In Austria (and I'd assume in Germany too) many tool shops are selling reagion specific stuff. For example, Bauhaus in Villach (a small town in Austria, near to Italy) sells marine accessories and even boats as well es fishing rods, lines, spools and other stuff...
Great shows, both Shadow Foam and Maker Central, never new about it, but will look out. Particularly likes the wood chisel sharpener. My kids are always into creating and will love this 😃
Normally they aren’t called Zollstock anymore. There are still people calling them like that but it is either Meterstab(Meter = metric measurement unit and stab = another word for stock) or the more general term would be Gliedermaßstab(Glieder = limbs and maß = another word for measurements and again stab)
Never understood why tradesmen don't give ryobi any credit I've used only ryobi tools in general contracting residential/commercial I've done kitchens, bathrooms, framing, drywall, and drilled into alot of concrete for more then 10 years now and every tool I have still runs like new I have all my original batteries no problems no downgrade in Quality or power they always get the job done just as good as any other tool only they're more affordable and have alot more variety 😉
Man, I wish I would have seen this video when it came out because I absolutely NEED those Sata Lego pliers. I love tools and I love Legos plus I already have a Lego Matco toolbox and other tool related Legos so this would have been a perfect addition to my collection but of course I cant find them anywhere online 💩
I have to laugh at England's knife rules. No locking blades allowed to be carried? I carry four locking blade knives on me every day, everywhere, all the time... except when getting on airplanes.
Honestly same but their newer stuff especially the brushless competes with the pro brands circular saw on par with makita just got their 90nm drill more powerful than the dewalt of the same price can’t knock Einhell at all man
I have a Staley knife similar to the one you got, it does not have the additional locking blade but I have used it for over 10 years and had to get a new as left my old one in Brazil.
Love your videos, I have a suggestion though, maybe your first layer of foam should be black, so the colour in the deep cuts don't exaggerate the gaps around the tools, then have the coloured foam underneath so whatever colour you choose is only visible when the tool is removed. I notice details, and it tickles my OCD seeing colour around the outside of the tools, I just feel that black would look better 😂 That with added coloured inserts on the logos. I'm gonna try that with the foam I got delivered today.
Loved bifi as a kid, i think they didnt even have the "roll" back then. Theyre just extremely salty salamis and even though i loved them, i remember thinking even as a kid that they cant be healthy with how they taste lol. Never even tried the roll, because shelf stable bread is always absolutely horrible.
Just a tiny bit disappointed the bauhaus mini toolbox wasn't in rhe giveaway.I 3d printed a mini tool chest for my office desk. Its too shallow to shadowfoam unfortunately.
I understand the Allen keys are well gone so fear not about that lol. As a mechanic that owns my own garage, I'd say that that old orange B&Q nut spinner looks like a proper old school solid tool that will last the time.
Some nice tools there! Ever thought of a tool visit to Japan? I'm sure there'd be some odd/unique tools there all right! Be a bit further trip for you than Germany though :)
I think if they just changed the big boxes bottoms to a separated bottom that will fit both the small boxes or the big ones would work instead of an adapter plate.
