Hi Mate, wondered if you could assist? I have a 2018 RR Vogue (facelift). Do you know if the wiring loom you have would fit and if so the Part No. ? I am about to embark on the retrofit!
Hi thanks for this. I'm looking for one for my 2017 l405. Can you deploy it from the screen if you buy just the towbar? No module loom or button? Thanks
I sold it on to a dealer who ultimately finished the restoration. I did find out a lot later on that it had been clocked by some considerable miles in it's early life.
good advice! my 1998 P38 was drawing 0.5A, and when I did the BEMC sleep test (not like you showed, but I used an ampere-meter between battery minus pole and the removed cable) I found that it went to sleep after a couple minutes drawing only 200mA, but then quite quickly went up again to 0.5A. And after unplugging the blue cable the BEMC didn't wake up anymore for at least 10 minutes. Suspicion is now on our new neighbours, guess my car is parked too close to their WLAN, as the symptoms started after they moved in; will ask them where their router is. But anyway, will leave the antenna off. BTW, had also earlier a problem with the P38 disabling the engine, happened while I was in the technical university campus, also there my garage assumed that it was a strong radio signal, as the car started nicely again afterwards.
Hi I put my car on springs a few years ago and followed this video. My air suspension worked fine at the time i just got silly lifting it up on mud tyres hence the spring conversion... i am now going to put the airbags back on and put it back to standard. If i reverse what we have done here with the wires and put it back to as it was will the car remember its setting from before? Thanks
Genius. I assumed when watching this video that my 52 plate P38 would have the latest green receiver, and therefore not be the problem. Opened up, saw the blue dot, unplugged, job done. Car has been sat for 6 days and just opened and fired up with no issue; usually it'd be flat as a pancake after 2 days at most!
Wish mine looked as good... Mine is Dark Green with cream interior.... But mine needs some work... It looks good just the normal problems... Roof/electrics etc.. Good to see that it might be worth spending some money on it.... :-))
I love my 1997 I have the bull bars and rally lights factory. Green dark brown seats black piping. 80.000 miles on mine 138000km . I know they are head aches but they are under rated. Most owners used as asphalt queens. They need to see off road. What they were made for.
Hard to tell if it’s genuine as it appears to have had cheap tat added to it at some point. I suspect it is a genuine vehicle though as if it wasn’t I doubt someone would bother to do the gauge cluster. It’s not a 630R though as it would have a 6.3 engine and the badging isn’t right.
@@rangeroverp3846 I understand I’ve got a 2010 Range Rover sport cosworth I’m repairing at the moment and I’m finding it very hard to get parts but the way I think about it is they are rare and very hard to find so it’ll be worth big money when done!
I have one, 2001 P38 4.6 Vouge, Dark Green, In fair nick, needs a little work, but at the moment I have no Money and nowhere to do it... Am I on your register??? First letter of the reg is a "P". It is due for its MOT in Nov.... Fingers crossed... :-)))
