Yey wonder club is back! 🙌🏻 ok, so much to comment and relate to! First of all, the quote about limiting your resources to create more space for freedom really spoke to me and I instantly thought of learning an instrument. There are only several chords but using them you can create limitless compositions varying the melody and rhythm. Secondly, the translated quote about the x-ray was so beautiful. I haven’t romanticized airports before, but this quote and editorial really help me see it. Thank you ✨ And lastly, your comments and highlights in those books made me surprisingly emotional! It reminded me of our high school books and notebooks which always looked like this - guess it hit me how grateful I am to still have you in my life and be my friend. Wow. Wasn’t planning on bawling my eyes out tonight but oh well ❤
And maybe for my wonder of this month, I will say: being so in touch with my emotional side. The fact that I can cry over a movie, conversation or a memory is such a precious part of myself, I’m learning to notice and appreciate in more
oh my, you’re right about the instrument - never thought of it that way even though the book Im referring to is mostly about music! I am so grateful to have you as my friend too 😌♥️
I loved it 🥹 the book notes are so precious!! My wonder of the month is walking: observing how my walking habits change depending on my mood, tasks, days of the week and seeing how one day walking 15000 steps feels effortless and another day a 300 steps is all I can do. 🌥️
Former art gallery owner now running a mastermind group for entrepreneurs. For a video filmed in a car; the color palette in the frame, the music, and the pacing is outstanding. It is great working with business owners but your video reminded me how much I miss working with strong creatives. Enjoyed your video. Hope to see more.
Hey Nika! I think this is a super sweet video. I like how you share ideas and things you've been inspired by recently and tell the stories behind them. Stories are very powerful, especially when you have material to back them up with, such as your research, images, sketches e.t.c. Keep documenting along the way, it makes these videos great :) Also, maybe just as a small idea, I really like the cups that you got, that matched the ice. I think what could be interesting, is if you maybe try and replicate that image with the ice, but instead, it's those milky white glasses you found ☕️
thankyou for making this video and i look forward to wonder club, i feel lucky that youtube recommended me this video, this was such a lovely experience. Its nice to just listen to someones interests and cool new things they've found and find joy in outside the boundaries of work or monetary gain, this just felt so pure and reminds me of the innocent joy as a child one would have when meeting a potential new friend and both just shamelessly expressing ones interests and joys in the moment to make a connection and learn something new and interesting from someone else. So thanks Nika for sharing your wonders they were interesting and the snow balls made me smile i hope you have a lovely day -Lawson
i came across you because i wanted to see some people who had migrated to iceland as i am also contemplating to do that in the future and i love your calm content
oh thank you!! I owe a big part of my calm to Iceland and the way it holds space for the mind to unravel completely 😌 but not letting you get too calm with the occasional earthquake/eruption/windstorm haha
The first time I watched, I was editing a video for an ambient installation. It's about various 3d landscapes and this was perfect to have it on the side.
