Both suck just only look cool. I laugh at pebs using them in 2024, but fine in Reg H as options are limited just kind of have a Hate Boner for the both of them now. Why do they look so cool but suck so much a$$?! Bitter Blade is nice in Sunny Terrain but the one delivering the move is too slow and frail to make any use of it and has way too many weaknesses. Ceruledge is weak to Rock, Ground, Water, Dark and Ghost which is most of this game's metagame hahaha and the exact same weaknesses apply to Armourouge. Ceruledge is a Fire Greninja and Armorouge...lol if not with Expanding Force and Psychic Terrain is just a joker. Honest to Arceus...Skeledirge whoops both of them if done right and is The Best Fire Type of Gen 9 that is not named Chi-Yu because of Dirge's Dark type weakness and Chi's Ability to lower Sp. Def of the opposing team a stage or two. Ogerpon Hearthflame wins my vote but he kinda is a Grass Pokemon with access to type swapping by wearing masks. Meh Flare Blitz Fire Tera Koraidon with a Scarf is all the Fire coverage I need or my Ogerpon.
Good thing I gave Yunaka a second seal. She was already at level cap, but her stats aren’t maxed out yet. So you know what? By giving Yunaka a second seal (I kept her as a thief, don’t worry), I’m gonna make Yunaka even more BUSTED! What’s the worse that can happen?
I tried way too hard to make units based off of what would make sense in the story. Like pairing Scarlett with Allain is pointless considering the amount of sustain he has Josef or Miriam would of synergized alot better my last run as like the support heals instead of burst heals.
I'd say the only thing annoying about the game is if you get in a situation where you run out of stamina and rest and have mobs around you, You're almost going to want to restart the mfing map with that bs
1:39 It's funny you say that, because that's how Ike's "Engage Attack" should've functioned. Like his Final Smash! Oh! Funny story, but Tiki’s Divine Blessing carried me in Chapter 24. Because Past Alear has the Falchion, she went for her future self, THOUGHT she killed her future self, only to find… I LIVE!!!
Decent review and i'll definitely try out the formations thing (didn't even know you can change them before engaging enemies), but i rolled my eyes when you mentioned real time strategy. There is no real time strategy here, you spend most of the battle in pause mode, there is even a time limit you're even more discouraged from playing the game real time. It's simply not supposed to be played as an RTS, it's a turn based games with extra steps. Like i'm curious, have you never played an RTS before?
Here's some more early-game tips I wish I knew: 1. Every fort you visit has different mercenaries available. 2. Every major area has one "Phantom" mission that can be repeated as many times as you want for money and honors. For the first area it's in the south east corner and you'll need to fight your way there. 3. Prioritize fixing new towns and stationing guards there. You'll generate more resources you can use to fix more towns faster. 4. A unit with no stamina cannot move, but can still fight effectively so long as you don't tell them to rest. If you have a unit that can heal itself, you can often win fights via health percentage and hold chokepoints forever. 5. Use the Garrison Warp. During battle if a unit is garrisoned they can be dismissed to refund 1 valor point, then deployed instantly at another town. 6. Similarly, dismissing a unit can let you swap their leader or add replacement characters to the unit without spending valor. 7. The mock battles with mercenaries on the overworld will give you a prize if you wipe out their unit. 8. All units get a massive power up at level 10, in the form of a new ability. Be aware when tackling missions at that threshold.
11: each area has 5 treasure maps. Get them all, dig up the treasure, usually has decent weapons, stat boosters, or level boosters (along with gold) 12: The Witch lets you inspect animal carvings, The Wizard stone heads, Chloe ruins, Lex towers, The Elf Man stone circles, The Druid sigils, The Owl Scholar mysterious doors. Make sure all of these get recruited if you want to interact with these points of interest 13: rapport conversations give a small amount of honor, on top of learning more about the characters. 14: learned skills get auto-added to your tactics queue. If a party member levels up and suddenly starts doing less damage, that's why. 15: buy nuts, bread, and steak, every time. You never know when an extra action point or two will save your unit
Hot take. Go to elf hime, do Celeste quest, leave without further elaboration. Go to draken guard, get Berengaria, leave without further elaboration You are now ready to do the Bastorias content
I already thought of using Diamant with Ike when I realized they were similar in terms on how they are used. Both are extremely powerful and durable, wield swords and axes in their personal class, and of course the fact that diamant will always get hit. Although I did make him too… powerful ( killer axe+5 with 60 crit )
Love these builds. Hope you drop more. One thing id ask is that you show the actual builds for ALL units in each build. Makes it a bit more detailed and helpful. Keep it up
I wanna save everyone. I let the guards take gammel. I regret it now but im 20 hrs. Restart or nah? Im only just doing the desert area. Was exploring and kinda grinding xp items for my guys. Barely got to lvl 18 today
