You can say Parles-tu français as well. It’s not incorrect. It’s just more formal. Tu parles francais is correct if you add the intonation at the end. Kind of like Valley Girl upspeak here in Southern California. Your voice raises at the end of a sentence and makes it sound like you’re asking a question.
