Awww, the time when downtown Reno was the place to go for movie theaters, clothing stores and THE sporting good store. I don't remember its name. Plus we loved staying at the Mapes Hotel when visiting from Hawthorne!
It's not Nev-AHHH- DA...it's NEV-ADD-A. When I hear this, the first thing that leaves an impression on me is that only people who live in Nevada know how to say it. Nice video though.
Do you know of any easy hikes without too much up hill to get a good view of the entire lake? You should do a video of the best FLAT trails. Just an idea. I went to Van Sickle Bi-State Park. I am sure you heard of it. I was looking forward to going to that waterfall. It was so misleading in the fact they said 1 mile to it. It was much further than that! Had to turn back
Well done. Normally I discourage anything making the backcountry more impacted than it already is. I have spent much time on or near these hikes back in the late seventies and mid 80s. Never once encountered another soul. Your short summary reminded me of the positive impact that the eastern Sierra has had on me. Perhaps everyone should be blessed to live the experience.
Great places, we have been to a few but need to see them all. Got my SUB thanks for sharing, we would love to live here or maybe grass valley that’s very close 😀😀
I've traveled and visited the Eastern Sierras for over 30 years and have never heard or much visit these lakes. I'll have to visit some of these! Thanks!

lmk if you know anywhere to live and housing , i had to leave aafter covid that place was crazy. One thing i think is top importance you missed , is the immigration and crime. it was on a rise of 60% and i was close with sheriffs department they said 70% of nevadas human tafficking goes through north lake. the community atmosphere left that place around 2018
Nice and relaxing before bed! I visited Yosemite several years back. Thanks for stirring up fond memories with my Dad when I was in my youth. Wonderful video of all the falls.
Gabriella - Thank you so much again for another excellent video! I certainly will add a couple of these sites to my list of hikes. Always looking forward to your videos.
Thank you for sharing Gabriella!! I've done 3 of these falls. I hope to do the Burney falls in the March 2025. Love your videos 🙌💙🙌 God's amazing creations!!

I lived in Mammoth and been to most of these places on this list. The rugged landscape calls to be explored and the off road trails are endless. Hot springs at night under the Milky Way and meteorite showers. Bears, eagles, wildflowers, alpine lakes full of trout and creeks. People are raw and small town feels.
What about someone who is trying to compare Sparks to cart Carson City? I need to be close to shopping facilities and of course doctors offices, etc. does Carson City offer these as well as sparks? Who gets more snowfall, Carson City or Sparks places to take my dogs for a walk especially dog parks are just hiking in general which city is better
