For me boredom hunger is head hunger and what is the most dangerous. Steel cut oats are coming back into the rotation. I'm not sure how they fell off, honestly.
I just found your channel (and subscribed). You are great! Workshop Question: I’m on WW and just found out I have high cholesterol. I couldn’t believe it since I follow the WW program everyday. I tracked a week in MFP to see what was going on and my saturated fat is way too high! Even within my Points I never realized how high my saturated was. I love WW but kind of mad that their Points system gave me a false sense of security. Has anyone experienced this? Should I quit and just track macros? Thank you!
Looks like an awesome store!! Lots of name brands. Wish we had something like that here in the back woods!! I saw the Italian Butterball ground chicken/turkey. Have you tried it? I made a sausage tortellini soup using it and omg a game changer!! The laughing cow garlic/herb makes a good sauce for pasta.
@@dishwithdee the one I used for the Italian tortellini soup was the Italian links. I squished it out of the case. I'm gonna try it with a cream sauce (laughing cow) too.
Been without power and water for 6 days from hurricane Helene. Trying to get enough protein from whatever I can get from my pantry. No way to cook. But hoping to hang on till the power comes back on.
Thank you! Well said. I also am a little hopeful that WW will get start valuing its long time members who know the in person meetings are necessary for their success. I felt betrayed by the repudiation of the core beliefs of WW and angry about the closing of many meetings and firing of excellent staff. I wish they would offer a new program to spark interest and remind people that lifetime weight loss is possible without medication. Many members are living proof of that.
Great video Dee, I too wonder if CEO was brought in to intentionally make things worse. I think you would make a great Board Member. Is there anywhere I can get advice? Im in limbo of cancelling as I just dont agree with the point system on how it scores things.
Glad she is gone.... Maybe Oprah will give her a job since she was so apologetic to her on that live!! So, this is strike 2 in my book, the last CEO and this one...... Let's see if they get it right this time.......
She was a disaster. When they began pushing drugs I was totally dismayed. WW is supposed to be about health and losing weight in a HEALTHY way. I hope they find their way back and become great again.
Hi I'm back from my vacation for a week and I gained 1.5lbs which is awesome for me for a week I usually gain 10lbs in a week so I did great, I'm very Happy!
I did not meet my goal for the month but I am down. My small goal is to just lose 2 pounds a month. My week was ok no meeting this past week Helene came through. Things are getting back to normal where I live so maybe this week.
I think this is an excellent idea, mini goals, to make it through the holidays!!! Found this on line: It's not what you eat between Christmas and New Years; it's what you eat between New Years and Christmas!!!!! Ok, so my mini goal is to lose 2 pounds a month, by January 1st!!!!
I lost 1.2 this week for a grand total of 11.4 pounds down this month! And October 1st is my birthday! I'm going to be making a very special cheesecake (decidedly with lighter ingredients to stay on track because I think that's sadly only going to take it from 800 calories a slice to around 300-400 calories a slice) with dark cherry pie filling from scratch to drape over it. I can't wait!
