QUESTION!!! Wow btw, I had no idea there was so many different coneflowers! Thank you for sharing that! I love all coneflowers, they have always been my favorite, but I lost my purple one that I grew from seed last year to some kind of small white worms that invaded the roots. I just bought the most beautiful orangey red one about 3 weeks ago and noticed the color was getting drab. There are vertical cuts in the main stem. Would anyone know what that is and what to do about it? I sprayed it with soap and water but I have no idea if that will save it or kill it. 😢

Online they say coneflower hardiness is just up to zone 8/9… but I still want to hear some people from zone 10 if they’ve tried and succeeded…. I have 5 seeds as part of a wildflower packet, which I have separated from the rest and will babysit 🤞🏼I hope they grow

Growing Geum for the first time. Started from seed ‘Red Dragon’ and ‘Lady Strathenden’. They didn’t bloom this year but they didn’t die. Thank you for useful information. Amazing how you learn by watching.
