That's bullshit. There's no way that that should've been that tight. Unless someone didn't want you changing it out and upgrading it or maintaining it yourself.
What's so great about the frame? I think that the only thing that's great about it is that it had a cartridge in it instead of the fixed cup and cone to deal with.
make a video only targetting the tools and action of the bottom bracket step by step this will help lots .....anyway you have great skills in these ....great👍
Good job. Thanks for sharing. I am currently getting my stuff together. Zoltan, please Tell me, what happened to the upper sunk screw in frame 2:05 min. The screw / bolt head is ground plane or what is it? One can read 8.8 on the bolt head. Is it bolt with plane head?
@@wakawaka1976 I do actually. It allows me to carry two kids AND fill the bags up with groceries. Besides, the big front wheel and direct steering allows me to go more off the paths and, for instance, cycle on the beach.
Well done, however, I think the easiest way to take the strap out is the cut the single thread and unfold it. It can then be sewed up again. It looks like that was how it was assembled, because the lock has only sufficient space for the unfolded strap. From what I learned, you may damage the strap threads, if the screwdriver does not have enough width and should not be sharp, it may cut it. So, definitely recommend carefully cutting that thread holding the fold, and sewing it back.
Thanks for the video. I had to unpick the thread on that central pull strap to get it out, right pain in the bum, then just sewed it back up after. No doubt my kid will be sick again...🤣😭
Thank you very much for your video with the very detailed instructions and photos. We couldn't have done the disassemble and the assemble back again without your instructions.
Thanks for this, helped a great deal following an unfortunate vomit incident. Had some problems pulling the strap out even after sewing it so skipped it and just dumped the whole thing with the buckle mechanism in a pale with water and bleach. might not be ideal, but got the job done. Also - awesome unicorn
You inspired me to build one for my Yuba Mundo. I use Ursus Jumbo 2 (rated at 80kgs) which is fine but I want a cable-actuated center stand like yours. I also like your Iron Ranger =)
Well done, especially the geometry of the steering rod. It ist not so exposed, but still allows a high range for the angle of the front wheel. Easy to find, or did you need several trials ?
You did not show HOW you did it.....I have the samenproblem and I dont know what to do ...I have managed to remove the NONE DRIVE SIDE bracket....but the drive side is stuck...will drilling it help?
This is the difference between the height of the axles, because you use 20 and 26 inch wheels! Because I put the front axle on 0 height (underside of main beam), rear axle has to rise 8cm!
@@giovannipacitto4532 not sure what you mean now. The donor 26" bike has a horizontal top tube. I made the bike so that the new main beam and the top tube are horizontal again. So yes donor bike is placed in its original position, is this what you asked? :-)
