I've been fascinated with firearms since I was in high school. I recalled walking the halls with a thick Gun Digest as if it was a text book. I took metal shop because I wanted to build a Sten but they wouldn't let me keep it. I should be thankful they even let me build it at all, that wouldn't be possible today.
Now, that I'm retired, I like to do educational videos to help my fellow gun enthusiasts but I must admit it's not made for novices. You should have some gun knowledge and own basic tools (including a Dremel).
I've 4 series on my channel, they are: 1. Pimp me Shoot is strictly cosmetic (dressing up). No mod done to the gun, totally reversable. Adapting parts to the gun. 2. Hack&Mod , may not be reversable and parts needs to be made. 3. Full Monty Disassembly, advance disassembly (not for novices). 4. Major Mark Campbell's gun collection.

What all do I have to do to get that CYMA POW to fit right? I’m listening to the video but you lose me at the inserting the pins part. Do I have to purchase some new pins?
I’ve owned Romanian (rough), Chinese, and a couple of Yugo’s. I learned a lot about them and the inner workings. I always wanted a model D Norinco but never owned one. Of my 4 the Yugo’s were my favorite….There were some issue with Yugo’s having gummed up firing pins from storage cosmoline and it was important to disassemble the bolt and polish the firing pin plus channel to prevent “slam fires “….Today I own one special to me AKM only, but I do really like SKS rifles.
Many people don't know that Marshal Tito strongly encouraged everyone in the country to practice yoga to build strength and resilience. That's why it was Yoga-Slavia.
In the 1980’s I bought cases of them for $45 each. All used but in excellent condition. I owned many kinds and sold ammo for them. I sold them as cheap deer rifles. I liked the Russian SKS but they all were great guns. People would break them and I would do small repairs but 99.99% never had a problem.
LOL no dont Dremel the stock. dremel the damn magazine. I got 20 30 rd Mag's for my Norinco and had to Dremel them all. Just take little bit off at a time and keep trying them until it fit's perrfectly. Mine all do. I have a monty carlo stock.
You could email me if you were interested. I have an Izzy AK that someone had put a ram line stock on. And as you know, those guns were super rare. Let me know, please.
@gnutzguy I know the 380 magazines don’t fit in the 32acp receivers but will a 380 upper fit on a 32acp reciever. I’m considering picking one up and want to make it a machine pistol for my FFL but wanted it in 380. I know I’ll have to modify the magwell.
Found your channel looking for info on my sks and was happily surprised with your content! Glad to find a guntuber with content on firearms that the average person can afford!
Excellent video and quite informative, sir. My one complaint is: there were instances of your showing a part, the differences in the manufacturing, the quality of the part, and it was out of the shot.
I fabricated a 1 inch spring and mounted it on the plug at the buffet tube hole inside the receiver where the bolt bumps into it before slamming backwards .smooth like butter cycling now ..also DO NOT swap both the extractors the left stays on the left of the bolt and same for the right side extractor it will not cycle properly I found this out the hard way .also I made a flat shim to mount under my front sight to level the sights and used long m-lock screws to mount the shim and the flip up sights . I also removed the bushing inside the front hand guard to better free float the barrel .my accuracy in now amazing..love the videos sir ..a word of advice get out of Canada move to the united states to a free state like here in Alabama ..god bless you sir keep up the good content..love it
Should have watched this before i bought mine It is a shit handguard, dont retain zero, add a bunch of weight, the screw have a tendency to "strip" With a gun in 7.62x39 that you need to clean a lot especialy the gas block it is a shit design that require too much disasenbling. And it dont retain zero, and with enough removing and putting in the screw just fail. Ohh one time under recoil and a lot of shooting everything went loose also. So i put back the wooden handguard. So i got a 200 dollar paper weight and a fancy 600 dollar red dot for nothing...nice😂
I like my GSG MP-40 9mm but it has issues. First of all the ammo guide located in upper broke off and had to return to ATI for repair. Now the trigger locks after firing one or two rounds as if the safety was activated. I cleaned the gun and everything functioned fine until I fired a few rounds and trigger locked up again. ATI has the firearm and I am awaiting their response. Love the gun but it's not reliable.
the adapter i used was commonly available from aliexpress but todays more common AR adapters is better but required more mod. hopefully in future vid i will try to solve that issue.
@@gnutzguy Looking up info on Tavor X95 as one was stolen in my area and people are saying it's not an assault rifle. Came across your video. Not all people love guns.
