Action figure reviews from the point of view of a Batman collector. Also a big Alien and Predator figure collector. All about action figure and accessory comparisons. Love civilians/regular citizen figures. HUGE army builder!
Thank you sooo much for doing a comparison to the other two! I have the deluxe version and I haven't open it. I wanted to know if this new one was different than the other two. You solved that mystery. And I do agree with you about the outside color of this new one. Again thank you.
Does anyone know of any tighter hands I could use for this figure? The hand sportsmaster already has won’t tightly hold the weapons. I’ve tried every possible hand I can think of and they all loosely hold the weapons. The only ones that can are 6 inch figures
Nice review, but I passed on this one. I almost picked him up, but I just couldn't pay $30 for what is basically a figure of a regular looking dude wearing blue jeans and a Superman tee. If he was $20 I might have gone for it, but not for $10 more (even with the extra heads, etc.). Plus I prefer his classic look with the leather jacket over his more traditional spandex superhero costume.
It think they forgot to give you his Helmet. There is a space for it in the plastic tray where it should of been tucked under his Left Arm. His Left Arm is posed with a slight bend in the plastic tray to accommodate for it. Contact, Mcfarlane they should hook you up or its in box somewhere hanging out.
That Sport master figure is going to replace the Rival as the new Target peg warmer😩quite a few of the Batman it’s heavily borrowed from sat in one near me for months
Not interested in getting this but it’s great to come with three heads and that different base. I’ve got the other two superboy figures, with 5he leather jacket and prime.
Thanks for the review. I decided to pick him up based on this, and will probably seek out that Casey Jones figure based on your recommendation. I hate the closed left hand, so I swapped it out for Animal Man's left gripping hand. He looks better holding 2 weapons. But also looks godd with one hanging from his belt (courtesy of a clear rubber band)
Yes, 90s "Reign of the Supermen" Superboy is Connor (Kon-El) before he gets a personal name. He was originally a clone of Paul Westfield (director of Project Cadmus) but later got retconned to be Lex's clone instead (by Geoff Johns irrc).
I think the Mezco 3.75 inch figures work out best to scale on this Batcave set. I know you probably compromising on details a little but I'm a scale buff,, so.
Is it though? Long thin legs and a narrow upper body with not much if no muscle definition? Even the image on the card has a broad chest and shoulders with muscles that are making the shirt stretch complete with beefy biceps, that’s a superhero build and it’s in-line with how he looked in the 00’s as well. Just seems to me that their pulling a Hasbro, reusing a buck when it suits their bottom line rather than making a new buck that suits the absolutely suits the character.
I don't know why they didn't do the eagle the same way they did for the SDCC-exclusive Centennial Park Superman. They just sculpted the eagle right onto his right fist; it was all one piece. It looks really cool that way.
Thank you for comparing the batmobiles! I haven’t gotten the new one yet since I have the chrome version. I think it’s a superior version overall, but I do like the dark blue coloring.
