Try the VVT stage 3 turbos for about the same cost( if you know how to install and tune yourself). 850 HP for 2200 bucks will give you 8s at sea level on gas pump. What other manufacturer can offer that?
Nice. One question, why wheel spacers front and back? The stock stance is very good, and it is safe when the car is fully loaded and go over bumps and uneven terrain without rubbing the tires.
How did you get the radar to stick to the sun visor? I have mine hardwired to the mirror as well but want to put it on the sunvisor just like you showed.
I also have a f30 and a Uniden r3. I’ve done the mirror tap but don’t know how you stuck the radar to the sunvisor. Would you be able to let me know what you used so I could do it as well? Thank you.
Left my x3m stock, its fast enough, not worth the extra maintenance, insurance costs, wear and tear, more gas etc......already faster than 95% of cars on the road, love it. So what if i get to 160mph asecond faster i dont race this car for a living. Jmho
@@straight6kris yes it’s very roudy but I like it. I went with some from alibaba, they claimed no CEL but they do indeed cause CEL so will be tuning it to stage one in a few weeks to get rid of CEL
I remember watching someone mention that the coolant expansion hose is extremely likely to burst at 60k. I wrote it off since im new to BMWs and had 55k at the time. My 435xi GC just passed 61k and guess what blew? Yeah. Food for thought. Replace that ish.
I never ran a crank seal guard and I actually did have a serpentine belt fail, but it did not get sucked up or anything and I was able to replace it with no damage to anything else. Might be worth the peace of mind for around $80-$100
Ride quality is fine tbh, I daily my X3M in Boston too so you know im swerving to miss potholes lmao. I think everything about this car outweighs the suspension and regardless, I customized my M2 button to have everything sport plus but keep the suspension in comfort and its kinda nice ngl. Edit: added the word "button"
@@idrinkskooma thanks so much for your answer. I‘m considering an X3M for a daily as well. As my current daily‘s suspension is very rough though I‘m craving something at least semi comfortable now 😅
@@sveeny oh I reccomend the X3M as a daily to any BMW enthusiast. Its also perfect size. Not too big and not too small for a crossover. What do you currently daily now?
I don’t mind it! It’s not a cushiony ride but it’s definitely not harsh. People that don’t like it typically swap in a HAS kit or kw v3 coilovers and say it makes a big difference. I think I plan on doing the same in a couple months
Very nice ride, sir. I really like the interior mods. And the exterior wrap. And the M Performance goodies. And...everything about your vehicle, honestly. Nicely done.
I was trying to show a realistic kickdown, not many people drive around with the drivelogic all the way up. On my car it is set so the 3rd bar is essentially drag strip / track shifting and not comfortable to use daily
