Peterborough's far from the worst city in the UK lmfao Nottingham Birmingham Sheffield Milton Keynes Aberdeen Southampton Swansea Leicester I can think of a whole lot more that are significantly worse than Peterborough, this video is a sham.
This is a very poor video. You cannot judge a city by whether the trains are late and whether it is raining when you visit! What were the video makers expecting to find that they did not find? What characteristics do they consider a city should have to make it a "good city"? None of this is discussed.
I used to travel from Aberdeen to London back in 2017 when they used to have direct journey, and buses were very reliable due to Scottish control over Megabus
Now let me see; worst cities for crime, in no particular order: Nottingham, Doncaster, Bradford, Teeside, and Birmingham. Peterborough nowhere near these
My wife and I travelled from Edinburgh to Newcatle a couple of weeks ago in first class and enjoyed the experience. The first class lounge at Waverley Station was great too, especially after a long day of sightseeing. I had the homity pie and pea/bean salad which was nice. My wife had pork and rice, which she enjoyed . Regards from Whitley Bay
I live in Peterborough and yes there has been quite a lot of crime and sometimes knife crime but I'm stlii here and it's not a bad place at all it's just I live in standground and need the skate park there is a lot of bad people there and under the under pass but no it's quite a good place actually I don't know why it's rated the worst city though cusin my opinion Luton is definitely the worst city in England ❤
First Class on the Transport for Wales locomotive-hauled trains between Cardiff/Caerdydd and Holyhead/Caergybi via the scenic North and West Line is pretty good, especially if you pay a bit extra for a three-course meal with wine in the Restaurant Car!
King's Cross train station? Don't you mean King's Cross railway station? The seats on LNER's new Azuma trains are much less comfortable, even in First Class, than those on the older British Rail InterCity 125's which they replaced. Oh, well, I guess that's what you call progress! In the good old days of GNER (1997-2007) you could use a cheap Saver ticket on the 08:25 out of the 'Cross, and sit in First Class for free provided that you bought a Great British cooked English breakfast for GBP 15! Those really were the days but, I suspect, probably before you were even born!
I am confused, you went to a very small part of the city centre and to the cathedral and you've seen Peterborough? Please guys go have another look. Peterborough has its very bad but also has very good. As for shops closed down that is a nationwide problem.
Thanks guys, enjoyed that. When my daughter was at uni in Edinburgh I did Leeds to Edinburgh (service 383) several times, took around seven hours. Unfortunately that particular route doesn't operate any more, but I do London to Leeds (561) several times a year.
My mother is from Skegness and I holidayed there often as a kid, ok it could be tidier but may people from the Midlands enjoy it for what it is. A lot of these naming the worst resorts or crap towns is just plain snobbery.
Their is a seaside town near Paignton. I have forgotten the name of. But you take like this really old train to. That is so boring. We went their by accident. We meant to get off at the stop before. This town was so bad. we walked in and the first thing we said was when is the next train out of there. We had to spend an hour there and we couldn't wait to leave
Never been, but I would so go to Skegness, yeah maybe bit rundown, but I love seaside towns like this, everyone is welcome there and indeed everyone is going there, families, young guys like you and your friends, older people, it just feels so nice that there is something for everybody.
Absolutely brilliant, well produced, we have been once, loved it, lovely long walks and sandy beaches as well. We had a delightful hotel which served delicious foods, especially the fresh raspberry crumble with linconshire cream, and plentiful breakfasts with lincolnshire sausage and bacon. The Lincoln football team were in residence when we were guests
Skegness was always the holiday place all Leicester (my schoolmates )or Nottingham(my parents generation )folk went to ,they even shut the factories down for two weeks and every local coach firm made money taking holidaymakers there !,my family holidays were in Devon though ,great video and brings back happy memories for you Logan 🙂🍦🚌🌞!
From the States, megabus is pretty decent in my experience. Nothing like what you experienced and i have done about 10 trips. I rate land travel this way. 1. Amtrak 2. Megabus 3. Sharing the bed of an old pickup truck with goats, pigs, chickens, rats and roaches 4. Greyhound bus just feel blessed you never have to catch a greyhound bus! lol
It all depends what time of day you travel. LNER offers three different menus of which the "Dine" version is by far the best. They've also cut down a lot on the amount of complimentary alcohol which they hand out to passengers aged 18 or over.
Bit late about around the same time 1-2 years ago i was making the journey from FInchley road- Nottingham, The bus A) didnt show up or B) Came as a contracted coach. Thankfully national express let everybody on their coach to nottingham
Logan has super presentation skills, brilliant interpersonal and communication skills. He is just Rolls Royce material. We would love him to get more subscribers ❤️
Very good idea to have a cheap introductory fare even if it uses older trains lol a lovely video as always Logan ,great presentation and you are looking well 🙂
£1 is a fantastic offer. I went along this line many years ago on a trip to Bletchley Park and thought it was quite pleasant. It’ll be a shame if it stops operating.
