One day out of the blue, this song came back to me flooded me with memories of how great this band was. I've been obsessed every day now for a long time. I was about 20 when I remember riding around listening to their fantastic debut album wide open. Thank you so much for sharing this great footage. Thank you for the memories!❤❤❤

One reason I would not want to be famous is things like having to sit for interviews with an idiot dork like that Dr G guy at 3:35 from the Denver Post. OMG. Can anyone be more unprofessionally awkward and uncomfortably uncool? A 6th grader could have done a smoother, more intelligent interview. Not surprised Rick and Ben probably made themselves scarce when that guy appeared. Poor Elliot and Greg left to suffer.
I just love when the singer in a band can go live and sound the same as if in a studio!! Ben is one of the few who can do it ... it always seems the talent of The Cars just never matched the quality of their misic....
WOW! This is an incredible discovery!!! I am so thankful for these posts of these original concerts in these amazing days.....I was 12 when their first album came out....I was (am still) crazy about them....Ben was a big influence on me...I dressed like him, lol, love him....all of them are great guys, perfect pieces of a puzzle that make this masterpiece group......
I saw them in oakland, California with the motels as the opening act - it looks like this show was filmed by the group I would like to see more instead of the 3 or 4 songs in this documentary , it is a great point in their careers
I saw the cars on there panorama tour with the motels as the opening act in oakland, can. , I wish that some more footage from this era of the group - most of any is not very good sounding, if anybody has some bootleg material please provide us cars fans with it to make our day!
