I love the Cummins 12 valve engines all mechanical. The only thing that it needs electric is to start it. I want to put a Cummins 12v in my 1989 Ford f350 or a dt360.
I don't remember you being at the altar and giving your vows... If you don't like it that's fine. I didn't build it for you. And you couldn't afford it anyway 🤑
I've been trying to find a stainless visor for quite some time for my Ram 3500. Where did you get that one or if you made it, would you be willing to make another one? Asphaltcowboy1795@gmail.com or text 517-937-6071. Thanks
Dude I dig the stacks. Maybe would have extended the frame alittle bit & put a fifth wheel plate on the back but for sure would have run duals in the rear. But all in all very sweet looking dodgie. Keep on trucking
Supposed to come off the back side of the rim because the recess. For thr bead so u can pull, slack is way closer to the other side. But very impressive ,in a pinch that would do it. Obviously if you have the tools that would have been way faster and easier to pull the rim off
I'm looking to do the same with an old 24v that i will buy . The thing has been sitting for over 5+ years but i have no idea of what to check before trying to start it? Or what to do in case of no start? I'd be so thankfull is you gave some advice and help , thanks.
24v is electronic. You would need a fuel supply and to have the engine harness and computer all hooked up. Then hook it to power and crank it over. But if you are not familiar with wiring I would get someone who is so you don't fry the ecu. The old Cummins like this one only needed fuel and a power wire to the shut off solenoid to start it
@@wreckleskelly the other day i was talking with some local mechanics about the same think I asked you about and as soon as I said the word ''24 valve diesel cummins'' they all said ''ahh just plug some new batteries ,crank it and the thing will start right up , but let it iddle for some time'' and I keep wondering if that's a safe option I'm not willing to try that until you give more advice , thank you for answering and helping me I wish you luck in your future projects 👊.
If you can power up the computer and supply it with fuel yes it should fire up. Use a wiring diagram to get it hooked up correctly. Alternatively you could start it with starting fluid aka either. It will give you an indication of its mechanical soundness. No wires to hook up just crank, spray and let er buck!
But on a real note why make a perfectly good second gen dodge the most hideous thing, a cummins at that, I would have robbed that engine and threw it in something else. And put a 440 in it then it wouldn't be a waste
