Hi, I hope you're having a great day. My name is Brian Rader, and this is my technology news and review channel. Please also check out my freestyle drone channel, RADER FPV @ ru-vid.com
I think they have prevented all but Samsung laptops from doing this. Google likewise prevents their Pixel devices from having their own DEX mode because they want to sell Chromecasts. Samsung doesnt even bighlight this feature anywhere, so it just doesnt make any sense, afterall Samsung doesnt have a comparable product they are teying to canibalize sales from.
i just got the 8gb ram one + the book cover keyboard for 590$ from the samsung app. I needed mobility for architecture work as i only have a desk PC and i thought the Tab S9 could be more practical than a 590$ notebook. (already had a bad experience with a 1400$ Aourus notebook that left me several month working with an old college times notebook)
one ui 6.0 now my Zflip 5 wont connect to my book 3 360... My s9 connects no problem to my book 3 but nothing will connect to my zflip. My s22 had no issues but since I recently upgraded to the z flip I cant connect. I have tried everything. I mean everything. I cant figure it out and it was my favorite feature before when I was doing work to be able to use my mouse and keyboard with my book3 seamlessly I don't understand what happened. I have tried disconnecting I have tried disabling windows pc connection, I have tried to update the profile on my tab s9 . Please I am up for anymore suggestions I want my feature back and samsung help center is useless.
If you don't see the Photo Ambient Wallpaper option on your S24, go into your phone Settings -> Advanced Features -> Labs, and turn Photo Ambient wallpaper's on. Thanks for stopping by.
The closest you'll get is to into your Settings -> Home Screen, and towards the bottom there will be an option to view home screen in landscape mode. Once this enable and you turn your phone to landscape, it will fill up most of your TV's screen, but not all of it. That's a limitation of the difference between the aspect ratio between your TV and your phone. Most of the galaxy tablets get you close with a 16:10 aspect ratio, but you'll still have black bars since you're TV is 16:9. It would start to look weird if they tried stretching it.
Three years no camera upgrade is a shame for what is intended to be a flagship device. I have the fold 4 with full samsung ecosystem and was holding off for the 6 but im not sold on it and will be looking at other foldables with better cameras. 50mp for $1800 is wild.
Thanks for another visit! July 10th with be when the new devices go up for pre-order. Flip 6, Fold 6, Watch 7, Galaxy Ring and Buds 3 (not sure if Pro or not) are what we're expected to see.
Thanks for stopping by. It'll get released right alongside the Fold 6. The UTG display is supposed to be 2x as thick this year, and the crease is supposed to be a lot less noticeable.
I think the Fold 6 will be a great device, it's just the lack of innovation in the camera and charging speeds that stings a bit. The next Vivo and Pixel foldables will be nice offerings, and Huawei and OnePlus are killing it outside of the US. I wish we had more details on this Ultra model, it really throws a monkey wrench into planning for which device to get. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for stopping by. Hmm, that's interesting. I've noticed some apps don't support it, like Messages, but it should be letting you pick more than otherwise. I'm not sure what the cause could be.
I'm disappointed in what I've seen leaked about the Fold ... I was thinking about waiting for the Fold Ultra ... but not having SPen support? How can you call it Ultra? Great video as always
Thanks for another visit my friend. It's really confusing this year, and we may end up getting a surprise or 2. I think it's going to be really nice, I'm just a little ticked off that we continue to not see charging speed and camera upgrades. I bet it will feel a lot different in the hands with the titanium frame and sqaured off corners, I'm looking forward to that part. The whole Ultra thing is really confusing. We kept hearing about Lite models in the past that never happened, but apparently this new Ultra model is a sure thing. I just wish we knew more about it, so we knew whether or not to hold off on the regular version.
@@RADERTECH exactly ... I would love to know if they are waiting to release the Ultra model ... I would hate to buy the Z Fold 6 only to have the Ultra come out a few months later
Samsung really needs to step up their foldable game now especially when brands like Vivo are going global with their foldables. Else it would be really tough for them to compete with some of these other big brands who are doing really well from an innovation POV in this segment!
I know what you mean my friend. It's the cameras and the charging speeds (which I forgot to mention) that are really killing the vibe for me. For most it's the aspect ratio, but I'm actually okay with it, for the most part. But gosh darn, another year with the same cameras? I hope we get a surprise in this area, fingers crossed.
@@SNPDemon Totally agreed. In terms of OS, currently Samsung is miles ahead but maybe with the new OSes being launched by various brands I wouldn't be surprised to see them catching up to OneUI pretty soon.
@RADERTECH couldn't have put it in any better way bro. As you mentioned in the video, Fold 6 might not be that interesting this year but fingers crossed for the ultra one that's rumored to be released in Jan 25.
I kept my IPhone 15 Pro for the great ecosystem and Watch Ultra, but needed the S24 Ultra as well. So, kept both. This is great stuff for S24 Ultra, I've been going all through mine now. Thank you.
I would think so. I use Visual Studio on it for web and api development and it handles it easily. I would expect mobile development along with running the emulators for testing should work just fine. Thanks for stopping by.
i think i am already late for this comment. But, for further when you get the same issue, try to check your phone without case, remove the case. Some cases have a magnetic metal inside. it one of the causes.
I did just that before making the video my friend, along with a few other things. I pretty much tried everything I could think of before recording this. I ended up trading it in and received full credit.
Yes I google to see if it's just me with washed put color in s24 ultra..but yes it's so faded..why someone pay for 1400$ phone so crap no wonder ssung giving so much promo..super disappointed
I have s24 plus i didint even notice honestly in my opinion the colors are not washed are just better calibrated more natural even in vivid mode because too much vivid colors can make image burn look bad aka so its not washed just samsung want to deliver a better colorization instead put all colors on max on vivid mode and me i like this new abordation i hope they dont change this in my opinion the colors are perfect not too much vivid but not too natural or washed and no see any washed colors in games or on home screen or in youtube video the colors are perfect balanced if you want vibrant vivid go to xiaomi simple.👍👍 and put side by side with iphone 14 pro max my samsung galaxy s24 plus and i think samsung copy iphone on colors calibration this is why some people think are washed but they are not they just copy iphone color balance make more natural instead mega vivid i play asphalt 9 on both phone same colors like 90% identical
They've updated the Vivid mode setting since this video, there's now a 3 level slider that lets you customize it further. I'm glad you're happy with it, that's all that matters! It's a great phone.
I have another issue, I can't hide navigation bar in games, it is only one swipe down and I accidently quit a game while playing, also the navigation bar won't disappear in the game for some reason, I have s23u
Gaming is tough with the new navbar setting, the accidental swipes from top and bottom are tough in landscape mode. You can hide the navbar line (or 3 lines if using the One UI 6 gestures) by turning of the Enable Gesture Hint setting found on the main screen where you pick between the old and new gestures. I did a video about this, I think it's called "Hide the Navbar line", something like that. Thanks for stopping by.
Hmm, that's interesting. One thing you could try is opening up the Studio Settings, About Studio, then tap on the little "i" icon towards to the top right. Then go down to Storage, and clear cache and data. But, please keep in mind that this will likely clear out all of your existing projects.
Thanks for stopping by. Yep, I'm sorry to report that this has been removed by Samsung in a fairly recent update. It was right before we got One UI 6. I'm not sure if we'll be getting this back at some point or not.
Hey, I just came here for the troubleshooting. It was VERY stupid. I did restart my laptop, and I even restarted my phone a few days back. The solution for me was to do a hard reset. So, turn the device off completely, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on. Then it connected right up. lol. Really frustrating that it was that simple. Really hope Samsung fixes this bug. Because Multi Control is one of my favorite features by far. IN addition to being able to use my buds 2 pro between devices and seamless connectivity.
