It looks like a low-poly model. Maybe good enough for your purposes, but I can print round things that don't have a bunch of flat faces around the circumference on my ancient printer. Granted, mine is surely much slower than the Bambu, but still, make that machine work for you.
Why you say that ? They are perfect. Tinkercad is very low resolution. These are very precise. The Bahtinov mask is exceptionally clean. The diffractions spike make perfect sharp stars.
@@JCuppett It can be a bit of a challenge in heavier seas. Best thing you can do is drop the drone into sports mode so that it turns off obstacle avoidance. You can then get closer to it and grab it
@@Shooting_the_Breeze they do blend in very well and sometimes hard to see on the phone screen but very obvious when watching on the computer. i got mine 1 month ago and already logged 12.5 miles and 4 hours flight time.
Cheers man good information i have just had myn delivered the sand was interesting as lots of people complain about not cleaning walls but the sand looks to be reson for that 👍
was in normal mode. DJI Mini 2. The real issue is that the settings were at max 120m altitude. But thats from where it took off. It was less than 40m above the ground, but 120m from my feet. I went to rise above the trees and the altitude froze, so i went straight into them !!!
@@Shooting_the_Breeze Thanks for Your reply! I fly a Mini 3 pro and a Mavic 3 pro. Both have obstacle avoidence but that doesn't work in the afternoon/early evening when the light is low. Using night mode for the camera, no obstacle what so ever is detected.... No obstacle avoidence in the Mini 2? Oh boy, i tell ya. Wheni tried to fly my drone for the first time.. Since i live in an urban area with lots of high building, my rc disconnected and worried af since it took me 5 month to save for that drone, i thought Id lost it then RTH did its work and was so extremely happy. Lmao
Did you make the 360 track settings before departure? For trees I recommend limiting the radius and reducing the height - do a new test in the same place - you will see it works 👌🏼
I'll give it a go mate, but the test was to see if it would avoid the tree that it came across. If i shorten the distance then it simply won't get close enough to the tree, This is effectively doing the obstacle avoidance for the drone

This happened to me about a Month ago but mine fell to the ground and everything was fine apart from a few pieces of grass and mud but now this thing fell from my hand and hit the floor , three feet ! Now my camera doesn't work and it is nothing to do with the rubber dampener or camera alignment , something inside the camera is messed up cause I can hear motors running and slipping , or something like that , you were lucky it didn't fall to the water . I'm glad it didn't .
Hehehe I agree a landing pad would be nice. However this was just a demo as to how RTH works, bringing it back to you. I was thinking about getting a pad though for when you are in rough ground.
