Hi, does it seem to blow up tyres. Have this for bikes and the air flow is poor. Not sure if it's the hose or the tyre inflator. Also is it any good with the air blaster you mentioned for blasting dirt off the buggies? Cheers
You are a good man, wonderful video, I have bought a new scroll saw and I have the same problem with the blade coming off, a friend of mine is trying to make this conversion..thanks a lot... from Malta.
Brilliant idea. One minor suggestion. You could use threaded inserts instead of making threads in the wood much tougher and last longer due to wear and tear. Otherwise it is a practical idea. Cheers.
Mate! That was so useful. My scroll saw has been doing my head in with that bottom fixing keep falling off when threading the blade through the workpiece. I've just ordered some from Axminster. Thank you so much and I've just subscribed. Cheers.
Tried to order these. Seems like a nice conversion. However, the shipping cost to the US is almost 3X the cost of the part. Took a pass... Good to know this before you, too, go through the ordering process.
Excellent! I have just purchased one and this is one of several complaints with it. I am also concerned by the inherent instability they have added those awful leg extensions to try and avoid. This means the out feed table cannot be made to attach to the saw. The on off switch is poorly mounted and to switch off one lowers one’s head to saw height to see switch which has no emergency button. As you have indicated there are ways around the problem but this is for a diy market and we are reverting to production engineering skills we have learned in industry. This shows how useless the European CE mark is. It is a tick box exercise the Chinese are taking advantage of as this table format is not unique to this manufacturer.
Hi , I have never used a scroll saw and bought one recently and your first attempt came out really well, which blades do you prefer using? ( manufacturer, type, size etc).
