Cheers james I was the same before I bought my first one I would always buy ready to use wood from the timber yard but milling your own wood gives you a sense of satisfaction it's a big investment but we'll worth it

Cheers ricky mate yes it's awesome mate leaves the wood so smooth like it's already been sanded with 220 grit and as for the sponsorship I think it's a case of if your face fits mate some companies seem to give tools away to people with hardly as subs and only a handful of videos I've asked certain companies before and basically been told no

Just stumbled on your channel after I purchased a Triton planer/thicknesser. You have a video from 2017 on the Charnwood W691 which I've been considering due to the amount of wood shavings coming off the planer/thicknesser. Looks like you have a new extraction setup. Did the Charnwood fail or was it not very good? Thanks. Might call round for wood as I only work a mile or so away.

Have got a video on you dust extraction setup, as I have a Titan hoover and looking to do something similar. How does the Titan hoover cope with thicknesser, as just bought same one.

Hi Warren, just out of interest, you never included the part where you fixed up the dust collector to the vacuum. Did that go into the Titan behind and if so did the hose go straight in?

the cross snipe at the beginning and end is apparent and can be rectified by continuity of timber on the rollers. the rollers are the culprit I think, iain w glasgow

Fantastic for reclaimed flooring. Can the blade be sharpened or do you need to replace it? Bit of a, 'How long is a piece of string', question but any idea on how long the blade will stay useful? Quite impressed by it. Thanks Warren.

The actual blades in this machine 2 off them and the blades have 2 cutting edges on them so when one side gets dull you can turn them around and they are hss blades so I'm sure you could make a jig to get more life out the blade to sharpen it as for longevity of the blades it would depend on the types of wood you are planing if your doing a lot of very rough wood in deep passes they wouldn't last too long before needed sharpening but taking shallow cuts they will last longer hope this makes sense

Reset switch/lock switch is on inside by blades, red switch to lock blades in on left hand side near power button

Nope no problems with it still going well only thing is dust extraction it spits sawdust out the infeed table apart from that its excellent I just give it a good blow off with compressor after every few uses keeps it it good condition
