I really like what you say about drug addicts, I would like to know if you have patterns I can use to help them stop using. That is one of my goals when I learn more, the thing is that because I learn nlp in english I can't use it in spanish their native language here in Cali Columbia South America. Can you assist me in anyway?

Thank you for this insightful and uplifting interview. As an artist and tutor using holistic processes in my own practise and my spiritual development and trying to help my husband with mental health and addiction problems too, I am researching into nlp and training to become a practitioner. I resonate with your reference to one's perception of reality and the fascinating and unique process of relaying our perception into art. Creating beauty through the adventure of painting.

Good interviews, Bo. I did an NLP practitioners workshop (25 days) in the 90s, given by someone who in her turn had been trained by Anné Linden. I can still remember that sense of playfulness and discovery as we practised the material. It's wonderful to see all of these people I only know through the books (or from hearsay).

1 2 3 4 testing testing, Hello Heeellow 🎉 OK, this is interesting, experiencing how we in NLP can go into the same trap like old fashion Academic Psychology and make things unnessecary complicated. What on earth is the purpose of this endless stream of words? Words words words about colors and how many did vote ‘yes’ and ‘no’ and ‘don’t know’? And military decition making and crowd wisdom... How can we ever use this BS other than using now the same awkward processes like the academic world did for decades - in our hunger for recognition? To take on example: Coach State was marked with the color red and just about 40% did recognize it, as a part of NLP. Ok, what does that tell us? Nearly 60% did not participating in programs by Robert Dilts or Judith DeLozier on UCSC or Metaforum in Italy or in Paris and did not get an upgrate in NLP. If the majority of people with less knowledge or education - is not knowing about next generation NLP - does define what NLP is or was not - we can stop developing NLP and don’t need new inspirations, because it is not recognized by all the people who did not participating anyway. Every upgrade on NLP is depentend on how many people participating on courses and programs. If I did participate in Italy or Netherland on the modules of Lucas Derks about Social Panorama, it is part of NLP or I did never hear about it and vote no. The result showes us nothing. This fantastic people on stage are for me highly respected people and my former Mentors and Trainers. So I did expect something extraordinary from this People coming into the field of NLP. As I understand this Video - this is another way of wasting time with awkward models and showes Subjectivity on a whole new level 🙂

I like the idea of poisoning the well. If you only have one event and have to convince them you can use rapport and the same pacing and leading. Then mind read the negative responses they will have, and using priming answer those questions before you state you call to action. Your research that as you get more of what you focus on, stating things in the negative, and listening to statements that way from others and t he news or outside sources costs you 10 to 15 years off your life. I have also read looking at German New Medicine that different traumas affect different organs. As trauma affects the autonomic nervous system, fight or flight dumping cortisol from the adrenals into the body . Burnt out adrenal's affect the thyroid and thalamus. You are creating negative self fulfilling prophecies. This also changes the mineral amounts and ratios in your body.
@tomprovan50
@tomprovan50 7 лет назад
To start with you get more of what you focus on. And a basic presupposition of NLP is, the meaning of the communication is the response you get. some others are the map is not the territory, all behaviour is the best choice you have at the time, people have all the resources they need to succeed, I am in charge of my mind and therefore my results, The only reliable information about a person is their behaviour, mind and body are one system, have respect for the other persons map of the world, you need to start there, you cannot not communicate, their is no failure only feedback, the more complex the situation the more flexibility you need, any changes should increase choice and be evaluated ecologically. So before you communicate you go to the end and determine the outcome you want. Start with a pattern interrupt if you need to, and change the focus to what you want, using presuppositions, presupposing your out come , placing obstacles in the past. Next continue with a strong frame the leads to that outcome. And start with rapport meet them at their map of the world, pacing them and leading, being congruent with your speech and body language. Just a statement the usual NLP format for this has been the 4 mat method. Why what how what if. This method engages the different rep systems.

To start with you pointed out that he who has the strongest frame will control the direction and outcome of the context you are dealing with.Next as you have pointed out the practioner must go into the state he wants other to go into.The motivational strategy you are demonstrating, answering the why question seems to represent an away from meta program which is directional away from pain but not going in a positive direction yet. A threshold pattern that when a threshold is reached usually at a bottom, their is a painful desire to change. The motivational reason may be options or procedure. You being procedure do talk about this in a sequential procedural way. The letting go step 2 will have a set of sub modalities that lets them know they have let go. Step 3." Who am I"' or building an identity, yes "Who do I want to be?" using Dilts model looking at past behaviours and determining the meanings resulting in beliefs that once strong enough are values which create your identity, Hierarchy of beliefs. Again this will have a strategy which can be modeled. Next past my identity, outside of me. Question for what purpose? The intent. Putting them back in the old environment starts the hierarchy again but as you have a new identity your values and beliefs have changed and so your behaviours in that environment. Its about installing strategies from successful models of people who have gone before through this process. And as you have said NLP is about creating choice so you can keep what have and build a new identity on top of those skills or capabilities.

Just an observation saying "do you understand" and waiting for an answer, "yes" uses Caldini's consistency and commitment principle. It looks like your time line based on your hand gestures is through time is that correct? You tend to spatially motion to things in front of you.
