I am too familiar with the feeling of "wasting" your free time because you didn't get to do everything you wanted to do 😕 but it's important to remember to do things on your own rhythm! Even taking a nap can be a good use of your time, the world will still be there tomorrow. Also, I knew that drawing looked different! It's nice that you are experimenting with different techniques, your unique style still comes through. Your right! The word 'vacation' forces many people on this planet to do things they don't really want to do - and in itself they know this (when they were honest with themselves) ! When the (summer) 'vacation-time' arrives, people are going mad because they think they HAVE to do something special during their 3 or 4 weeks free time they have to fill. That's why so many people are stressed during their vacation-days. Look at all the highway traffic jams that occur when the holiday season comes around; everyone leaves on the same day without even considering that others may have the same idea. So, enjoy the free time you have, don't get worked up and only do the things you really want to do in the free time you call vacation! Very good video!

Life is beautiful indeed! Meditation works really good for me in a time like this. The self-therapy you said is also really good. It helps you to stay centered into what is that you are trully feeling. Sometimes it feels like we just fell into a crack on the ground, and we need to climb our way to the top, like with the Escape Rope!! Mine is writing, RP, hanging out with friends and family, petting animals... you name it! Being in contact with nature has many healing properties. Like walking bare-foot on the grass, or on the sand at the beach... By feeling connected to the earth we can allow our bodies to easily regenerate. There are moments when my productiviness shifts, and I need to adapt. I was studying a lot til last week, but then, I shifted, I felt the urge to spend more time with my folks and doing creative stuff, so yeah... Just need to recharge for quite some more time. About that weird "funk" that comes completely out of the blue... Just tell him to wander off somewhere else! haha Tell him that you're not going to allow it to ruin your day! Remeber the things that really matter to you, connect to your heart, take some deep breaths and be grateful for everything, even the smallest things... I'm sure you feel renergized! Hey Lynn! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Stressful and chaotic times can cloud our judgement and even what we think of ourselves. It's important to remember that any time invested in yourself is never wasted, not even a little bit. 🧸 I guess the Gardens being busy those days didn't help and construction noise really can make things worse, years ago the house next door was doing some repairs right by my bedroom window 😪 those were some very cranky couple of months! As for me, moving has been unexpectedly emotional. At first, I thought the hardest part would be fitting everything into a couple of suitcases but going through my stuff has unpack (heh) so many memories. I feel a little sad that this chapter is finishing, and there were A LOT of goals I didn't get to do, but the excitement of what lies ahead makes me go to a more positive mindset. Life is really full of ups and downs and I am glad you are going upwards again ☀. Thanks for this really personal vlog and don't worry if you talked a lot, there was a lot to get off your chest. Please take of yourself and your family and see you next week! I’ve also had these « funky » moods where I feel dissatisfied but can’t quite pintpoint why. Usually it’s when I’m comparing myself to others (even subconsciously) and feel like my life is boring or unfulfilling. Slowly I’m trying to recognize that there is not one version of living and enjoying life and I’m trying to find what my version of life is. But it is hard! Especially since I don’t have special goals or milestone that I want to reach, for now I’m just trying to appreciate the little things and wondering if it’s enough since you often see that having objectives in life is important I totally get why the noise from the construction work dampened your mood. It can be frustrating when something outside of your control impacts your routine or just the peacefulness of the morning! I also had these mood swings where sometimes I would be so happy and the next day all gloomy. I don’t know if it’s related but there is this concept called the hedonic treadmill which is that basically we have a stable level of happiness that we mostly gravitate to regardless of negative or positive events. What I’ve noticed is that exercising or going for a walk really helps to regulate those ups and downs

You sure have more willpower than I do to resist overspending🤭. By the way do you usually prefer to read on English or on Dutch? The plot of "In a Thousand Different Ways" reminds me of the game Life is Strange: True Colors, where Alex can see and manipulate others' emotions. I just started reading the Hundred Loves of Juliet and I'm about half way through Mel Brooks' hilarious autobiography. Also I just finished reading Tokyo Revengers but was a bit disappointed by the rushed ending😓. Should I read Blue Exorcist? Anyway, take care and see you next week! What a very cozy bookstore video! I loooove books and reading them. I love reading since i was a young child and was to be found in library every week. On this moment i am reading a book by Raeanne Thayne, The cafe at beach end a Cape Sanctuary story and is romantic/drama book and i love her books. For a while i had two books from Korean authors on my wishlist and yesterday they were on sale so i bought both of them. I bought Welcome to the Hyunam Dong bookshop by Hwang Bo Reum and Uncanny Convenience Store by Kim Ho Yeon and when i have finished the book am currently reading i want to read on of them. And you had cat allergies?! Did they disappear or does something about her doesn’t trigger them? Hellooo, Lynn from the present answering~!! 😆🤭 Thanks so much for watching Natsuki’s story 🐈 And seeing the footage of her limping is pretty hard to watch actually. I’m just glad she recovered so well 🙏 As for the cat allergies, I’m actually not sure what it is, since I haven’t been around other cats, so I can’t compare. But I think I’ve just kind of outgrown them? I am still slightly allergic though - like when she accidentally scratches me while playing/giving love bites, it gets terribly itchy for hours, while it doesn’t bother my sister at all, for example. So the allergies are still there, but just less, somehow 😅 I’m still so relieved, because last year I was really dreading the idea of having to find another home for Natsuki because of me. Luckily it all turned out well 🤎🧡 The zoomies were so unexpected!! 😂 As for other surprises, there have been some smaller, more subtle things about cat behavior which I never knew - such as when a cat starts seeing you as their mother, they sometimes refuse to eat unless you sit with them 🤭 She started doing that earlier this year, and it’s so cute~ Oh, and another thing I had no idea cats did was that they come running towards you like a hyped puppy when you come back home after being gone for a while 🤣🥹 It’s the cutest thing! I’ve always been told that cats are really indifferent, so I never expected this kind of enthusiastic behavior lol! I always thought that only dogs did things like that 🐈 Oh, and apparently cats can have abandonment issues, which Natsuki totally suffers from, so we always have to make sure at least one person is home for her! Cats (and I think the same goes for dogs) are definitely far more complex than hamsters 😅 LOL, and I think you’ve won the pun contest this time! 🤣🤣🤎 Stay Pawsitive too~!! 🐾

Oooh, thanks so much~!! 🥹🤎🙏 lol, that’s exactly the way to describe it - Natsuki just claimed our home and left us no choice after charming us with her big green eyes 😆🐈 Besides Kindle, I also use bol.com but that’s a Dutch shop; kind of the Dutch answer to Amazon… which we also have a Dutch version of 😅 Usually Kindle is cheaper though when it comes to ebooks, but for some reason bol.com keeps lowering ebook prices lately!! I’m not complaining though… and bought another one today 🤣🧡 Oh, that piece of cloth came with an iPad case I bought years ago, it’s to keep my iPad screen clean from fingerprints! I hope you are well! ♥ I don't know if I've said it before but I really love your video editing style, it's so soft and light and calm and colorful at the same time so for me you are a pro okay?! 😋Natsuki does a good job as a creative supervisor, she deserves a raise and so do you 🐱 I would buy your stickers at whatever price 🥰 But yeah there are many things to consider, shipping fees, packaging, materials, production time, printers, etc. I've seen many artists on Etsy starting to sell their stickers in PNG formats so that may be something to start with but they're also easy to steal even with watermarks and AI! So maybe physical would be safer...? There is also a recent update on Etsy about allowing artists to sell AI assisted artwork so I don't know your stance on that but it's also something to consider depending on how you feel about it. So no rush, for now, it's always a pleasure to watch you draw them💖 I hope I'm not scaring you too much though T_T As always, I love watching your videos, they really make me feel so calm and happy and hopeful. Hello Lynn!! I hope your week is going well! 💙😻 I'm glad to hear that your detox is going well! (I'm sure you're still doing amazing today🌺💕) I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed high intensity cardio! It may be rough on the spot but it feels great afterwards (except for jump squats that I can still feel in my legs 2 days after)! I love to workout in the morning early and it helps me stay focused usually, more than a cup of coffee :p My cats also love waking me up early in the morning and sometimes I feel like just throwing my pillow at them but once I get up, I actually feel more inspired and motivated to do things while everyone is asleep, more than waking up at 10 am or so, then I feel like I've wasted my day sometimes and by the time I get up and do my morning routine stuff it's already lunchtime T_T... Great cozy vlog! Hey Lynn, I love your cottagecore summer moodboard, you picked some nice things to do! Persona 3 is a weird game (shooting yourself in the head to get the games started 😎!) with wonderful graphics! I like the style of it! But you did well waiting for the price to drop! I'm the same like you; Only the games I really want to have (and that I know of they will be very, very good!) I buy most of the time on release. Saying that, just bought The Long Dark for PS5 after waiting for 6 (!) years; the price finally dropped from € 30,00 to € 14,95 and that's the price I was willing to spend on it :) I'd always liked the graphical style of the game but I did'nt know if i would liked the play style. Still don't know much till now (just played it for half an hour) but I think it will turn out right! 😀 Hey I understand that you can change your mind about your book project! If you had written it years before, it is not surprising that, after all this time, you have come up with new ideas for a new version. Hello, dear Lynn. Persona 3 is my favorite game from all times! I'm glad to see that there is a remake for it now. Speaking which, I've been thinking on getting back on Persona 4 Arena, even though I'm not that good, maybe getting better at it. I'm really looking forward for the upcoming DLC, it's my best part. I realized by watching your channel that gaming is also important, specially when you got a lot of responsabilities! It's good to keep up with pace. I've been having a great time with my study books too! Although I wonder when I'll be able to enjoy some cozy space opera again! The last one I read was "The long way to a small, angry planet", from Becky Chambers. I've never heard of moonboarding before! Sounds awesome! It's nice to restart writing projects because we change so much throughout time! I remember when I started my RPG journaling back then in 2021, so much has happened... I had to do a reboot by the end of last year when I changed the system and the setting. I found the need to even redesign most of the characters! It was one of the best things that happened to me so far! So I'd say totally go for it! I never thought about doing a moodboard to envision how to spend a season, I have ideas for all of them but not summer! I’m slowing trying to find what it means for me because in the past I associated it with extroverts, having fun at the beach, alcohol and as a recluse (or ermit!) introvert I felt out of place 😢 I’ve only played Persona 4 Golden, I don’t know if you’ve already played it but it really captures the summer to me since you are actually experience the summer break with your friends in a rural town
Yeah, I get what you mean! I’m afraid movies are to blame for that 😅🙈 It makes you feel that summer is all about partying and “being loose”, etc. As a fellow hermit, all of that doesn’t speak to me at all either 🥲 A perfect summer for me consists of picnics, eating plenty of ice cream, reading lots of books, and just having fun with creative hobbies 😌🤎 Persona 3 is the only Persona game I’ve ever played! Extrovert or introvert? I think I might be... both? When I am with my spiritual family, I feel that I can be truly myself, but that's because they accept and love me for who I really am, regardless of what I'm currently facing. They give me strength in hours that I need the most, and we also enjoy the time we have together. Outside that group, I rather be more reserved. I'm not into crowded parties or hang-outs since they tend to nearly drain me to exhaustion, so I actually need to be very careful, because otherwise, it might affect my productivity right after. This cycle of renewal is very constant in my life, so I go through these "phases" quite often. We live here closer to the beach, so this is also a spot I find myself going when I need to "recharge batteries". 🌊🌊🌊

This is why I enjoy playing Pokémon meanwhile, and on HGSS I can take them on a stroll with the pokéwalker, which sorta acts a incentive to go out, walk around and even doing some exercise. Here in Brazil, winter has come! ❄ I haven't read these books yet, but the one about faeries seems really amusing! 😮 I'm about to read "My days at the Morisaki bookshop", from Yagisawa Satoshi. It's actually a recommendation from a fellow literature teacher of mine. I absolutely love The World Ends With You, it's also one of my favorites! 😄 I used to love how Hanekoma tells to the player that the world ends with them, so they would've to expand their horizons by meeting new people, and it's totally true... New viewpoints, new paradigms, new realities, new ways of life... Definitely to expand oneself throughout relantionships, it's also a way of evolving as human beigns. I tend to like routines, but I also get really worn out of them. I use Notion to organize my week in conjuction with a technique called "pomodoro" so I can finish the books I have to in order to study more... I'm still adapting. It's a nice hobbie to keep around! I love journaling. I tend to use it more when it comes to tabletop RPG. I am able to perceive my improvement and it's really rewarding specially after some time. 🎲
