I woke up in a funk, feeling unhappy and frustrated with life and myself. Recognize this? You probably do 😉🙈 But! I refused to stay in that place, so here's a way of how to get out of it and feel happy again~ I hope it helps 🥰

I am glad you said your are feeling better now. It is so important to enjoy the little things in life, because they happen every day. So that’s much better than waiting for things that may or may not going to happen. Enjoy your days as much as you can. Enjoy making your vlogs, playing games, reading books, watch series and movies you like and enjoy being around people you love.❤❤❤❤❤

Life is beautiful indeed! Meditation works really good for me in a time like this. The self-therapy you said is also really good. It helps you to stay centered into what is that you are trully feeling. Sometimes it feels like we just fell into a crack on the ground, and we need to climb our way to the top, like with the Escape Rope!! Mine is writing, RP, hanging out with friends and family, petting animals... you name it! Being in contact with nature has many healing properties. Like walking bare-foot on the grass, or on the sand at the beach... By feeling connected to the earth we can allow our bodies to easily regenerate. There are moments when my productiviness shifts, and I need to adapt. I was studying a lot til last week, but then, I shifted, I felt the urge to spend more time with my folks and doing creative stuff, so yeah... Just need to recharge for quite some more time. About that weird "funk" that comes completely out of the blue... Just tell him to wander off somewhere else! haha Tell him that you're not going to allow it to ruin your day! Remeber the things that really matter to you, connect to your heart, take some deep breaths and be grateful for everything, even the smallest things... I'm sure you feel renergized! That’s exactly what it feels like sometimes! Like something is trying to drag you down - but as long as we stubbornly keep climbing, we’ll be okay 💪🤎 Oooh, I can’t remember the last time I’ve walked barefoot on the grass, it must’ve been years 🥲 Thank you for reminding me of this, as being close to nature indeed is so healing 🙏 Yet somehow, sometimes I tend to forget 🙈 I recognize what you said about how your productivity can suddenly shift like that - I’m currently going through the same, and like you, I am now (finally) allowing myself to take a step back and recharge 🤎🧡 I will totally tell that funk to leave me alone next time!! 🤭 I’ll be sure to remember your words, thank you 🥰🌼 Take care and thanks so much for being here and taking the time to leave your thoughtful words~!! I’ve also had these « funky » moods where I feel dissatisfied but can’t quite pintpoint why. Usually it’s when I’m comparing myself to others (even subconsciously) and feel like my life is boring or unfulfilling. Slowly I’m trying to recognize that there is not one version of living and enjoying life and I’m trying to find what my version of life is. But it is hard! Especially since I don’t have special goals or milestone that I want to reach, for now I’m just trying to appreciate the little things and wondering if it’s enough since you often see that having objectives in life is important I totally get why the noise from the construction work dampened your mood. It can be frustrating when something outside of your control impacts your routine or just the peacefulness of the morning! I also had these mood swings where sometimes I would be so happy and the next day all gloomy. I don’t know if it’s related but there is this concept called the hedonic treadmill which is that basically we have a stable level of happiness that we mostly gravitate to regardless of negative or positive events. What I’ve noticed is that exercising or going for a walk really helps to regulate those ups and downs

Thank you so much for your comment 🙏🤎 I’ve also compared myself to others for the longest times, which made me feel absolutely miserable, so I can really relate to that 🙈 And the thing with having goals or milestones to reach for is that you can’t just go out and decide on one or find one; to me it always feels the other way around, like those goals and dreams somehow find you instead, in the most unexpected ways 🤭🥰 But like you said, I think that happiness always starts with appreciating the little things in your everyday life, as those are the things that come back each and every day 🤎🤎 Luckily the construction work has stopped (for now at least), so I can enjoy quieter mornings again 🥲 I’m so relieved~ I’ve never heard of “the hedonic treadmill” before, but I’ll be sure to look it up! It sounds really interesting 🧡 I like to do Yoga with a channel called Yoga With Adriene, and she also mentions in some videos that happiness and peacefulness is actually our natural state of being - what you said instantly reminded me of that ☺️ And ooh yes definitely, exercising and walking really help to stabilize those funky moods, it really works wonders 😍 Thanks so much for watching and exchanging thoughts, and I wish you a lovely week 🤎🧡🌼

Hey Lynn! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Stressful and chaotic times can cloud our judgement and even what we think of ourselves. It's important to remember that any time invested in yourself is never wasted, not even a little bit. 🧸 I guess the Gardens being busy those days didn't help and construction noise really can make things worse, years ago the house next door was doing some repairs right by my bedroom window 😪 those were some very cranky couple of months! As for me, moving has been unexpectedly emotional. At first, I thought the hardest part would be fitting everything into a couple of suitcases but going through my stuff has unpack (heh) so many memories. I feel a little sad that this chapter is finishing, and there were A LOT of goals I didn't get to do, but the excitement of what lies ahead makes me go to a more positive mindset. Life is really full of ups and downs and I am glad you are going upwards again ☀. Thanks for this really personal vlog and don't worry if you talked a lot, there was a lot to get off your chest. Please take of yourself and your family and see you next week! PS: Say hi to the vlog assistant for me! 😼 You two have worked hard on the last couple of vlogs, and it's paying off, look how close to 800 subscribers you are!

Hi Uriel!! 🧸 Thanks so much for your words, you’re absolutely right and it’s indeed so important to remember that chaotic times can have such a big influence on our mindset, but what we’re thinking and feeling then is not necessarily the “truth” 🙏 Oooh nooo, repairs right by your bedroom window?? That must’ve been brutal 🙈 I can totally get that moving must have been emotional - after all, it always indicates the end of one chapter and the start of a brand new one! I hope your new home will treat you well, and who knows, some of the goals you might not have achieved yet may come back in another form somehow, and then you will be able to achieve them after all 🥰🤎 Usually the dreams that are most important to us always come back to be fulfilled, in one way or another, even after we think we’ve had to give up on them 🌻 Thank you for watching, and I’m glad you didn’t mind me being overly talkative in this one haha 🤭🤎 PS.
