The fiberglass rebar is US made so it had less of a price jump than most materials. I recomend using steel corners and window surrounds in double #4 with other areas #5. Just start with the fiberglass so its youre standard. If its price competitive order the fiber bent pieces. They try to price it the same as steel to tell a supplier that you should get a discount of 2 ft of material for each corner since its that much more rod than being able to bend the rebar around corners. A 20' stick of steel almost goes around an egress window with one piece to tylie thw ends together. Fiber is 4 corners and 4 5 foot straights to tie them together. Twice the amount of material. If they give it to you take the fiber because one person can place a window cage of it and steel takes two people. Get Helix 5-25 micro rebar so you can take out all youre rebar other than the perimeters and penetration in most cases. These are easy to use and once you use these forms you will do youre own concrete. Great tools. Dont pour over 12' wothout an engennered mix to prevent blowout.
I remember picking up Railroad cars out of Belfouche SD. An old head conductor said to me years ago. Be careful when you go to the Gorilla factory. I was confused. The engineer turned and said. The bentonite is all over the rail, very slippery and it sticks to everything like gorilla shit. I waited and before I could ask about the gorilla. LMAO. But it does get nasty after a thaw or rain. I am considering using a bag for my hogs water hole. Suddenly the clay got really thirsty.
I consider this fastening to be unreliable: they did not use a thread sealant, and did not remove the paint at the place where the track adjoins the hitch. The guys have done a lot of work, but it's all short-lived.
you need to align the gauge with the source rod aligned to the hole and drop the source rod in. You are getting exposed to more radiation when you take the source rod out first and drop in the hole
👏🏼 question: if you were doing your own site(a shop for heavy equipment with a level parking lot) in a couple of acres. Is the black plastic pipe structural for the traffics? Or would you use concrete pipe? Imagine it would have 3-8 feet cover. Clay and sandstone. Thanks
Yes but how do you set the numbers on that stake? How do you come up with where your grade is? I know how to grade and how to check stakes just not how to set my own stakes
This is more so community storm water drainage that would run below the road. For doing it at home you can use far less expensive systems. These are also referred to as gully systems and for your home you use maybe 4” piping. You can also put channel drains if you have areas where overland water sheets during rain. Gully is more for areas where the ground has been graded toward. If you’re looking for a system suitable for your situation contact a landscaping supply company their sales department will set you up with what you need to properly drain your site.
What a complete sh*t show no PPE standing in a bucket rigging off the bucket prime example of a owner/boss that doesn’t care and or know better gonna get someone put in a situation working for this guy
This is interesting. I have to dig a 4m trench for a sewer offset junction to go into my property. I see the trench box is fine for straddling the sewer main, but how do you then put your junction pipe in which is close to right angle off the main? The trench box is solid and blocks the way.
The guy holding the pipe not needing a gym membership. Honestly that depends on your fitness goals. You won't build much muscle from that pipe thing compared to weight training. Just wanna throw that out there haha. I'm in a pretty physical job and I got most of my muscle gains from weight training. The strength and stamina was from the job though.
I saw the plans ,ostly called for a .30%. Did you set the laser at .26% (video mark 1:29) because the laser was further back than if starting at the catch basin?
