I remembered that my mom would play this in the car everyday we drove to school when I was in the 6th grade. My siblings would always sing along with the song. I would always be kind of annoyed by it. I wish it could be that way again. The years really do go by don’t they? 😢

Daw doesn't matter homie. DO NOT lose sight of what matters! Though guitar plugins are pretty tough to emulate. There are some geared to it that are great (strummed sessions by native instruments) but I'd say get Amplitube and run that over say a midi electric keyboard and you can get some great sounds. And if you have the $$$ you'll want to look at Neural DSP, specifically the Tim Henson set features all tims signature sounds, including the vocalizer.
